"There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to Man. It is a dimension as vast as space, and as timeless as infinity. It is the middleground between light and shadow, between science and superstition; and it lies between the pit of Man's fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call... the Twilight Zone."

+Power of mass multiplication when applied to his Bayonets.
+Bayonets are among the stronger holy weapons in the world.
-By last game had a revelation that fighting out of hate was a bad thing (blasphemy!)
-Has a soft spot for the children, mostly the ones back home in Rome.
-Has a never-ending urge to destroy Alucard when he sees him.

+Possessor of Laevatein, the Sword/Wand of Ragnarok used by Loki.
-Childish in nature, even though Really 700 Years Old.
-Hasn't been outside the SDM in 500 years.
-Won't use the "Kyuu~" unless strictly needed.
-Always "plays" with her enemies, thinking of everything as a game. You do not want to play a game with her.

Hmmm for a returning Character I think I'll go with

http://ps2media.ign.com/ps2/image/so3_0514_3_640w.jpg
+Fayt Liengod
+I think you guys remember him.:smallamused:
+Master swordsman of the highest caliber. (He has been training since the last game.
+Wields the power of destruction that is embedded into his genes that he has gain much more control over. It once at full power wiped out a huge space battleship from existence.
+Able to use symbology which is his worlds equivilant of magic, he knows a few new spells.
+Able to use various battle skills. Ex. Dimension Door- Dark energy spills form Fayts body and paralyzes nearby enemies and then he short range teleports near the target and slashes his defenseless body.
+Has Access to a lot of technology form his time.
+Has above average intelligence in his time. Here it would be near the levels of supergenious.
+Can be classified as "straight as an arrow." Generally a stickler for the rules.
+High moral fiber-If he thinks he can save someone he will try his best to do so.
+Sometimes niave.

I'm going with him because I can't be bothered to look at a wikia every five minutes to make sure I'm playing the character right. Mabye I'll try others when I've read up on them more.

For My Second Character how about

http://images.wikia.com/xenosaga/images/9/92/KOS-MOS_XS4.jpg
+KOS-MOS
+Battle android from the future
+This is her fourth and final upgraded form and is by far the strongest.
+Has access to multiple weapons via materialization. Ex. twin Chainguns.
+Super strength.
+Is pure awesome (check out cutscenes from Xenosaga 1 or 3 for confirmation.)
+Superspeed

+Has access to her Phase transfer cannon, it is very powerful (Read:A Very Powerful form of energy emission in the form of powerful plasma beams this likely refers to the direct conversion of mass to energy according to Einstein theory which eventually led to atomic weaponry. This would be therefore similar to what happens when anti-matter comes into collision with its corresponding matter resulting in the release of massive amounts of energy hence Shion's comment "You could vaporize a whole star with this."

+Has a long-range sensory array, a set of energy wings, a body is formed from some sort of highly advanced nanomachines that allows her to morph parts of her body (specifically her arms) into various energy projectile and melee weapons. This body is also able to self-repair and is very durable though not indestructible, and she is also protected by a force-shield.

+Contains the Consciousness of Mary Magdalene.

+also has the Hilbert affect-The Hilbert Effect is an anti-Gnosis system used to draw the Gnosis into our plane of reality, allowing us to come into contact with them, instead of them being able to interact with our plane's matter at will also Hilbert waves can also be used to disable many high-end sensors using cross-interference. This means it also affects local systems as well. Most ships have buffering which helps to prevent this in open spaces. However, when the Hilbert Effect is used without amplifiers in enclosed spaces, all sensor systems are affected, and Ether based weaponry is rendered useless. Concentrated Hilbert waves can interfere with Realian systems as well, but it appears to have no effect on humans, but in actuality can make enemies weaker.

Thanos, The mad Titan
http://www.corvusonline.net/thanos/ThanosThrone.JPG

"I take what I desire, for I am THANOS."

+ Enormous superhuman strength. Thanos can bench-press a moon with ease, sucker-punch Galactus, beat up all the Avengers at once, and generally out-muscle anyone he needs to.
+ Equally ridiculous Stamina. Thanos can keep on going as long as he needs to.
+ Insane durability. He can take even more than he can dish out.
+ Thanos can absorb and project vast quantities of cosmic energy, in the form of beams, shields, and occasionally more precise shapes.
+ Virtually ageless and immortal, and is very hard to kill. For instance he doe not need food or oxygen.
+ Some degree of telekinesis, telepathy and matter manipulation. This may simply be advanced technology rather then intrinsic powers.
+ His transportation thrones. The can perform interstellar transportation, time travel, force field, lasers, and otherwise have more toys and capabilities then the average battleship, while looking awesome.
+ Trained in the art of war on Titan. Don't be fooled by his bulky exterior, he knows how to fight and fight well.
+ Intelligent (he considers his mind as his greatest weapon), possessing knowledge of Celestial and other alien technology; good at coming up with plans, and grand strategy.
+ Beloved of Death. This gives him certain immunities and resistances.
- Driven by a pathological desire to kill, and to prove his love to Lady Death.
- One of the biggest egos in the marvel universe. That's saying something.
- Seldom takes any option but violence.

I don't know my other character yet.

Thanos and Light would totally be friends.

doliest
2010-08-22, 05:08 AM
Likely, though Light would resent the fact that he'd probably be a 'minion' but if it's in the same sense as he's 'Sammuel's' minion, he won't mind.

Pinhead was...strange. A bit boring, but then we had to constrain him because the game was low-power. Very low power. Frankly, until the end, he was actually incapable of fighting anyone not a Cullen. But that wouldn't happen in this game. So he would work. As for suggestions....

Edit:Pinhead also doesn't, at least from my experience, have much room for Character Development. The man has been the same for his entire Cenobite hood. He's a bada** and a bit funny, but overall unless you want to delve into his past, there isn't much in him. He's cold and sadistic.

You seem to have an affinity for decently powerful characters who can move around alot, not constrained by any sort of overall plan. More either making it up or changing it as they go along, or never having one in the first place.
Jokingly-Sylar
Actually-Pinhead, Predator, T800, Midnighter(Not too hard to figure out), Mickey

"Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is."
http://cgi.rumormillnews.com/pix0/YODA.jpg
+ If not the most, one of, considered, most highly skilled user of the Jedi arts and the Force in the history of the galaxy, Yoda is.
+ Master of lightsaber combat, Yoda is. Amongst greatest duelists of all time, many felt him to be. Think of himself in such terms, Yoda does not. Always better fighter, there is.
+ Wisdom, Yoda has, seek his advice, many do.
+ Knowledge, Yoda has also. Long time, Yoda has lived. Much seen, he has.

Because he did nothing in Twilight III and deserves better, so character numero uno es:

Akuma
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/72/Super_X_Gouki.jpg
1. A powerful and skilled unarmed fighter
2. He posseses mastery of the Satsui no Hado, which gives him incredible power
3. His ultimate attack is Shun Goku Satsu (Instant Hell Murder) which instantly kills a target
4. Possibly defeated Sheng Long.

Would you allow Godzilla as a character?

"Welcome back, John. The old place hasn't been the same without you."

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_2LiwE4cKIkA/S2RazL1Mi-I/AAAAAAAAANM/r9OKEbMcxqg/s320/Nightside.jpg
1. His reputation has been weaponized. Powerful people tremble in his presence, and the average mercenary will not dare oppose him.
2. His trusty white trenchcoat, with pockets filled with various magical charms and devices. And he always carries salt and pepper with him.
3. Almost always has at least one set of chaos dice, which if rolled inside ones hand, envelop the user in a protective field of random probability, and if rolled towards an area, affect that area like a really sloppy entropy curse. Random, crazy destructive force. He also commonly carries salamander eggs. Which are basically incendiaries. Plus, his membership card at Strangefellows. The oldest bar in the world. Run by Merlin's direct descendant.
4. His gift: to find anything. By which I mean anything. From your car keys to the weak spot in a man's armor. And for more metaphysical concepts, he can activate it. Like finding the one spot in an enchantment that if destroyed brings down the whole enchantment...and destroying it.
5. Due to the events of The Good, the Bad, and the Uncanny, is now the de facto Authority in the Nightside. With the ability to call up practically anyone and have them listen to him.
6. Now owns Walker's pocketwatch, with a portable Timeslip contained within. Basically a teleportation portal, with space/relative time functions.
7. Knows several important people in the Nightside on his own, including The Punk God of the Straight Razor, Dead Boy, and the Oblivion Brothers, and is currently dating Shotgun Suzie, also known as Oh God It's Her Run.
8. Absolutely terrible at hand to hand combat. Good at dodging and taking cover, though.
9. Has a minor trick, where he switches various objects. Typically, he takes bullets out of firearms, switches water and air inside a person's lungs, and takes the fillings out of people's teeth. Nasty stuff.
10. Lilith's son. His heritage gives him some resilience to reality warping, time bending, suggestion. And a great deal of grief.
11. Due to diluted werewolf blood, has an enhanced healing factor. And a very good sense of taste and smell.

"In Brightest Day, In Darkest Knight..."

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_BuENOh6AKqA/R2XRYSvK2sI/AAAAAAAABMM/a-RJNCnXKPI/s400/godamngreenlantern.jpg
1. Highly skilled at hand to hand combat.
2. Genius-level intellect. Master at planning, deduction.
3. Very rich due to inheritance
4. Knows intimately the psychology of criminals-superstitious cowardly lot.
5. Also? He has a Green Lantern Ring.

"Welcome to Los Angeles. We're here to hit you."

http://darksea.biz/Bastard_Sons/Characters/Pictures/Hawksmoor_Pic.jpg
1. Abducted by aliens from the ages of five to seventeen.
2. Surgically implanted to bond with cities; known as the King of Cities.
3. He commands and controls cities, ordering streets and buildings to do his will. He can also wield them like a mecha, walking an entire city to his destination. Within a city, he can move nigh-instantaneously through buildings and the like.
4. Superhumanly quick reflexes.
5. He runs on pollution; he doesn't need to eat or drink.
6. Can work as a fairly good Detective, and can order windows and the like to reveal their secrets.
7. Outside of a city, he won't survive very long. Maybe an hour, then he collapses, then he dies.
8. Right now, he's a drunk, ex-member of the Authority. He quit due to grief over Angie's death.

Quoting from Eragon I with some additional information:

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_XFGuSZ6n1LY/SKhQK7jchoI/AAAAAAAAAs4/UwS-ZpJf1m4/s400/Lina-Gourry-slayers-photo.jpg
Lina Inverse
http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/238/710317-lina_inverse_default_large.png
+Powerful blaster mage who has mastered the Dragon Slave (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIS2b7EOpB4) and Ragna Blade (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9P2B6v-0HY) spells (EDIT: Spells in Slayers (http://www.inverse.org/e/bkg/magic/alpha.shtml))
+Intelligent and highly aware of cliches, which should make her practically psychic in this setting :smalltongue:
+Possesses a spell which can kill anything, but at the risk of destroying the universe if miscast, which makes her understandably reluctant to use it
>Average at swordplay (enough to beat mooks with ease, but not dedicated swordsmen)
-Low aptitude in healing magic, moderate aptitude in anti-spirit magic.
-Short-tempered, responds to teasing with fireballs. Dislikes being called a kid, and do not call her flat-chested if you value your life.
-Very fond of gold - will do just about anything if the pay is good enough
-Big Eater. Since her companion is also a Big Eater, make sure your village has a few weeks of food supplies.
-Loses most of her powers at "that time of the month"
-Terrified of her sister
-Tends to gain a slightly exaggerated reputation wherever she goes, with half the people she meets believing that she eats babies and such if they realise who she is, though most are still willing to hire her. Granted, she usually introduces herself as "the beautiful, genius sorceress Lina Inverse", who few people have heard of. Now, "Lina Inverse, the Bandit Killer", "Lina Inverse, the Dragon Spooker", or "Lina Inverse, Enemy Of All Who Live"...

Gourry Gabriev
http://images.absoluteanime.com/slayers/gourry.gif
+Extremely skilled swordsman - when he was brainwashed and had his identity hidden he was able to defeat Lina, Zelgadis, Amelia and Sylphiel at the same time. And I don't mean "in a swordfight", I mean "no holds barred".
+Possesses the Sword of Light, a high-level magic weapon with a blade made of energy which can absorb spells and release them at increased power. Can also extend to strike distant targets, and damages spirits as if they were physical beings. Appears to be the Slayers-verse equivalent of Stormbringer. Most of the time he just uses it like a normal sword though.
+Jellyfish feel an odd affinity for him and refuse to harm him
>Would fight God himself herself to save Lina
-Dumb as a ton of bricks, forgets characters and plot details easily. Strong enough that he could have been a magic user to rival Lina if he could remember the words.
-Big Eater

Note on Lina's magic:
Chaos Magic: The ultimate form of magic. Lina knows two spells of this class, one of which she invented herself.
Black Magic: Draws power from various Mazoku (demons basically, but that word means something else in Slayers). Attacks the target's astral body first, with excess damage bleeding to the physical plane. In other words, hitting a predominantly spiritual entity like a demon lord with Dragon Slave will not create an explosion of any significant size. Mazoku are immune to spells which channel their own power (eg. Demon Dragon King Gaav is immune to Gaav Flare).
Shamanism: Draws power from nature. Earth, Air, Fire and Water spells have their effect entirely in the physical world, while Spirit Shamanism spells attack the target's spirit.
White Magic: Lina is limited to a basic "lay on hands" effect which takes a while to work.
Slayers-verse spells don't rely on the caster's mana, instead calling on outside sources. There is, however, a limit on how much power someone can channel at once (Lina's Demon Blood Talismans can boost this), and it causes some fatigue (though for someone at Lina's level it's small enough to be a non-issue).

Notable spells:

Fireball (Fire Shamanism) - as D&D fireball, but Lina has developed great control over the spell's power and timing
Dragon Slave (Black Magic) - The ultimate black magic spell, capable of destroying cities or severely wounding high-level demons.
Ragna Blade (Chaos Magic) - Summons a blade of darkness which can cut anything, even the barrier between dimensions (though a deity-level magic weapon can block it). This spell places massive strain on Lina, such that she can only cast it a few times without rest.
Levitation (Air Shamanism) - Relatively slow but highly maneuverable flying spell which requires little attention to maintain
Ray Wing (Air Shamanism) - Higher level flight spell - creates an invisible sphere of rushing wind which can carry others, provide minor shielding, and allow for underwater travel. Fast, but hard to control and requires more concentration (limiting the spells she can cast while using it)
Windy Shield (Air Shamanism) - Potent barrier spell

Also...

Berserker
http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090906224116/typemoon/images/0/0b/Zero_berserker.png

Servant. Bound to the will of the summoner or "Master", and dependent on their supply of mana to stay in the world. Master receives three Command Spells (appearing as marks on some part of their body), one of which can be expended to give an absolute order - for something the Servant agrees to, this allows them to exceed their maximum abilities (eg. "come here" allows the Servant to teleport to their location, "kill them" boosts attack power). Immune to nonmagical weapons. Can enter spirit form to become invisible and pass through nonmagical walls (but cannot attack or be attacked, takes a moment to enter or leave). Possesses a "Noble Phantasm", a weapon of incredible power which symbolises their legend.
Berserker class Servants have higher stats than other Servants (Archer had unusually low stats) and a "Mad Enhancement" ability which can be used to boost them further but take away the Servant's sanity and skills. They are also quite difficult to control, and require a mana supply larger than the average mage can provide.
Yoda should be able to sense him as an unusual presence in the Force (as a spirit brought into a time it should not exist), seething with madness.

Solomon Kane, Puritan Crusader

1. An Immortal Puritan who wanders the earth, fighting evil in all it's forms.
2. Skilled in Swordplay, Guns, other various weapons, and fisticuffs.
3. Bears the Staff of Solomon, a magical artifact that is powerful against creatures of Darkness.

Vin, Mistborn.

1. A former street urchin, who still possesses much sympathy for children in a similar situation: is still rather shy, paranoid, and insecure as a result.
2. Matured while working with a group of "good" criminals and revolutionaries skilled in infiltrating aristocratic society: is skilled in courtly manners and thievery.
3. Is married to a very nice, democratic bookworm of a noble: some of his literacy has rubbed off on her.
4. Thanks to intensive training, natural talent, intelligence, courage, nerve, and the ingestion of certain subtances (http://www.brandonsanderson.com/graphics/mb_table_v13.jpg), is one of the deadliest assassins in the world.

This going to be fun: Vin is one of my favorite characters, and because her abilities are very clearly defined, I can get away with being enigmatic about them.

Oh, by the way, Cracklord: {DM Eyes Only!}

Vin is kind of both dead, and very close friends with God, who is a gentle, kind person that likes musing on religious philosophy. If you wish to post the intro to her character, Cracklord, could you resurrect Vin Broken Sword style?

+ Denzien of the Fourth World
+ Technology that is beyond even the scope of Clarke's Third Law
+ Actual magic to match when he feels like
+ Able to subject entire worlds to undying worship of himself (notably Daximites, aliens with powers like Superman's which he made carve their own planet into a statue of himself)
- In an eternal war with New Genesis and equally powered slightly more benevolent world.
- Massive Ego
- Prizes obtaining the Anti-Life Equation above all

Harry Dresden

"When it rains, it pours, it pours demons, vampires and vengful gods."

+ Private detective, good investigative skills.
+ A warden of the White Council, charged to protect the council and civilians from supernatural threats.
+ Somewhat skilled in hand to hand combat
+ Sarcastic in the face of certain death
+ Contacts in almost ever facet of the supernatural community

Elric of Melnibone
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZbVGgQMmWI4/R1PHMsNZCXI/AAAAAAAACVs/jVFBtiqAiec/s1600-R/elric.jpg
+ Access to a library of magical spells, ranging from cantrips to city-destroying rituals, from all across the planes.
+ Alliances with demonic and elemental lords.
+ Demon-bound armor and shield.
+ Magic ring allows negotiation with demons even in other realms.
+ Stormbringer & Mournblade
+ Dragon: In his previous travels, Elric obtained the egg of a dragon. Allowing his old companion to retire, the new dragon is young, energetic, and hungry. Answers to the name 'Cyril'.
- Dependent on drugs and magic. Health deteriorates without medication until Elric can barely walk. Drugs themselves are difficult to find.
- Albino. It can't be denied; sunlight isn't good for Elric, and makes him the definition of distinctive.
- Conscience. Despite his epic power, Elric still strives to be good.

Hmmmm. More interesting than Shade. Not that I don't like Shade, but he has had most of his developement already. Crayak is Insane.
.
..
Why do I get the feeling I'd be playing a bigger version of Major? Is it the fact that he has a large army? The loyal minions? The fact that he moves around in a small planetoid? :smalltongue:

Edit:That's a bit much to control, I think. What about Drode? Most of the powers, more personality, less insanity.
.

Less flat out insanity.

Cracklord
2010-08-22, 04:53 PM

Can't compete in awesome, would win in a fight. Howler beats Vampire, no question.
.
..
Large comet to Earth beats Major's army. :smallamused:

Still, Crayak is unlikely to play a large part himself, since he's a giant eye in the middle of a biological mess and mechanical tentacles in a small planetoid, while the Ellemist is limited just as much by the rules, having to play a smaller hand. Drode is...fun. Would he be okay, if Shade being out doesn't cause you too much trouble.

Cracklord
2010-08-22, 05:19 PM
You are confusing power for evil, Doliest. Besides, omnipresent cat beats sufficiently advanced alien tecnology, and short tubby fat man with a gun beats giant floating eyeball without a gun.

My suggestion? Play Crayak and use Drode as your legs and eyes. Like I did with the Major. I used Millennium, and cut him scenes of showing fine taste in wine and art.

doliest
2010-08-22, 05:30 PM
That works. Though Crayak will get even fewer scenes, because he can't really do much, even if the Rules don't apply in a 'More than our galaxy' kind of game, since few of the players or NPCs want to talk to the giant floating red Eye thing that's talking is screaming from every direction.

Oh, wait, Drode likes to annoy people. They might talk to Crayak instead. :smalltongue:

But yeah, I'm going to follow your lead and do a 'Group' thing then.

Edit: Hm. I think they'd get along. Crayak just enjoys the genocide more than the War. He enjoys forcing people to make 'Tough Choices' that are ultimately futile. He enjoys manipulating people to debase themselves. At least, that's what his more sane moments in Ellemist chronicles imply.

Good point. And if he could get that Ellemist out of the way, it would stop being 'one galaxy in one universe' and start being 'one universe'....assuming he fled from a different universe rather than a different galaxy.

Though, seeing as how Crayak doesn't follow, say, Darkseid's method of 'Get super magical item and then rule creation' but instead 'Defeat the one person who is my equal, then conquer all of universe which, for the most part, cannot hope to rival me' he could springboard from one universe to two or three. Then he might be, overall, on equal footing with Darkseid and Thanos. Maybe.

Edit:Darkblade, how much begging do I have to do to get Darkseid, or a parademon, to show up at Crayak and Thanos's gathering? Crayak is smart. Rather then tangle with a whole bunch of people he couldn't beat, like most megalomaniacal super-villains, he opted instead to pick his own corner where no one could argue with him, and he could be the biggest bully in the playground. And so he did.
Now he rules quite a few galaxies in this universe, say 20, which tend not to have much life on them. But unfortunately this is a universe that includes the Warhammer 40K universe, and Neon Genesis Evangaleon. So he's worked his way up the foodchain, but he's not dislodged the top nasties in this world yet. That's what he is here for. Eventually he'll invent his perfect race: The Orkz, who surpass the Howlers in potential. With them, he has a real chance of conquering the universe one day. For more information, read up on the 40K fluff.
Animorphs are in a part of the galaxy blocked off by a warpstorm, who aren't included in any imperium. So is Yeerk space. The Andelites have their backs to the Tau, and sooner or later the two will duke it out. The same warpstorm blocked off Pandora, but has finally gone down. So they'll be attacked by Heartless shortly, who'll take over, and get the yearks involved. Slash and burn tactics for a while, they'll awaken one of the sleeping giants from 40K who'll see what all the fuss is about, and then they'll realize exactly what they are facing and conclude that this world is way higher on the foodchain then them and retreat.

As discussed, I'll take twenty Grey Knights, and these badboys:

Jaghatai Khan
“I am the punishment of my Father the Emperor...If you had not committed great sins against man, Man would not have sent a punishment like me upon you!”

http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/images/8/85/JaghataiKhan.JPG
+ One of twenty genetically-engineered "sons" of the Emperor. The Emperor used his own DNA in their creation. They are designed to be the greatest assets Imperium possesses.
+ Designed to be far superior to any human: immensely larger, stronger, hardier, faster, and more intelligent. The exact specifics vary from individual to individual. Khan is amongst the fastest and most quick witted but he's not as physically powerful as his more imposing brethren.
+ Unlike the other Space Marines, is capable of reproduction.
+ Incredibly charismatic, as their main role was to be generals and leaders of the Imperial military. Khan conquered his entire homeworld before he was twenty.
+ Has all the usual Space Marine enhancements. They all work better on him, as his is the DNA they were designed for.
+ He is in the part of the webway that belongs to the Dark Elder, and fights there still, lost in the twisting paths, after nine thousand years of war. That's how good he is, he's been fighting for nine thousand years against the Dark Elder, and he's still alive.
+ Affinity with horses. I can't see that coming into the game, but it should be there anyway for the sake of completeness.
+ Wears golden artificer armor built by the greatest Imperium has known. Despite being made of gold, it has been treated and forged in such a way as to be significantly tougher then adamntium, and can stand up to essentially anything. A nuke? No problem. In his setting it takes a nuke to deal with small tanks. To deal with a primarch you need a lot more gun.
+ The best of equipment. An enormous mastercrafted powersword, a stormbolter that fires custom, self propelled rounds, a shocklance, and no doubt a few other weapons. However, he's probably running short on ammunition.
+ The greatest bike ever. It's made of the same gold as his armor, every inch is carved and a work of art, weighs a couple of tonnes, steers like a fish, brakes and accelerates at the slightest twitch, has the finest of weapons built in, is quite possibly sentient or at least has an effectively sentient machine spirit, and can break the sound barrier. He fights on it.
+ Military genius. He's Ghengis Khan based, after-all. Also the loyalest man you'll ever meet.
- Comes from Warhammer 40K. He doesn't believe in compromise, to say the least.
- Stoic, grim, and doesn't make friends easily.
- Solves most problems with violence. Is completely without mercy.
- You know those good, forgiving, loving gods? That's not the sort of god he serves. Vengence is mine indeed.

Piccolo
'We can't give up just because things aren't the way we want them to be'
http://inmyotherworld.free.fr/gfx/dbz/piccolo.jpg
+ Piccolo has total control of his body, he can legnthen his limbs and can expand his arms, or become gigantic to the point where he is capable of reaching mountain-like heights.
+ He can move fast enough not to be seen. He won't be hitting relativity any time soon, but at least four times the speed of sound.
+ He can regrow lost limbs of his body so long as his head is still intact, as well as regenerate.
+ Superhuman senses
+ Superhuman stregnth. If it comes to it he could beat somebody to death with a mountain, though as he can demolish one with a single punch there'd be no point.
+ He also has the ability to materialize objects such as garments and a blade. this may be spun out of nothing, or just created from handy elements lying around.
+ Psionic skills, telepathy, can read minds, telekinetically lift things.
+ He has trained himself to be able to fly.
+ Ki attacks.
+ Extreme martial arts skills. That doesn't really do him justice.
+ Has a power level of 180,000,000 after fusing with Nail and Kami and training nonstop. A human has, on average, 3, and each successive level is exponentially harder to achieve. It takes a power level of 18 000 to blow up a world (Vegeta did it at this level).
+ Can create Dragon balls.
+ Surprisingly compassionate under his grim facade.
- Somewhat close minded, and often gets flustered.
- Not good with people.

Vanilla earth animals aren't a threat to a primarch. Or even an ordinary space marine, they can chew through steel and breathe in space for godsake. Demonkings aren't a threat to a primarch.
Sagnius, his brother, broke the 'King of War' on his knee. The 'King of War' was thirty feet tall and weighed thirty tonnes. And was a big demon that loved killing.
Anyway, I didn't kill them. Merely crippled them all. That's a hell of a lot more merciful then I can justify in character.

Come to think of it, who is stronger, Khan or Drode? I mean overall; Khan doesn't seem to be a reality warper, and while tough enough to defeat even Howlers with little effort, but once you yank the contest out of the physical, how strong is he?

Corvond
2010-08-23, 05:57 PM
Not all that strong. I mean, he has some latent psychic power, but he only uses it for the required secondary powers he doesn't posses naturally (say, tho stop serious friction burn, or lack of mass, or whatever).
And his mind, which is capable of performing millions of calculations simultaneously. And the fact he's a primarch, which does have certain effects, as you're about to find out.

The funny point Drode's trying not to bring up is that he can't kill Khan. He's not sure he could normally, but it's currently impossible; the Game has Rules, and one Drode is bound by is that he can't kill sentient creatures, so even if he was powerful enough to defeat Khan, it doesn't matter. All he can do is avoid and annoy the man.

How about this for a twist....

All the characters discover in the last scene that they are all fictional, and they have all been snatched out of their settings and forced to battle a bunch of cheesy vampires to the death for the amusement of a bunch of guys posting in a webcomic forum!!!!!!!!!:smalleek:

No, no, no. The twist is this: We all get killed by Dread Cthulhu. :smalltongue:

Twists....

We're all dead, and this is the afterlife?

Hmmm.... we're all dead and this is our own personal hell?

Oh wait, I'm not dead. Unfortunately. School can go f*** itself. I will not tolerate standing in line for school supplies for a full hour! YOU HEAR ME? I WILL NOT LET THIS STAND!!

Edward is from Earth Prime?

Cracklord

Edward Prime, eh?
Don't see it.

And those aren't twists, they're hakneyed plot devices. A twist is where you re examine the entire game in a whole new light.

It turns out that WE'RE the bad guys this entire time!
Bella is actually the super-being thing!
Jacob should've had a V8!

Let's see...
Edward has taken advantage of his sister's precognition in conjuction with his not too proficient manipulation ability to set up in advance a large scheme that we are all playing into right now exactly as he has planned?

God no. We know Edward could never pull that off.

Right. I'll skip guessing Carlisee, Bella, and Jacob. So....hm. Manipulation on a grand scale? No. This entire thing was a diversion for something he 'did twenty-one minutes ago,'

Edit:Draxx, Thanos is getting a communication from Crayak asking who he's meeting so close to Crayak.

Hooray! I got the closest!!!!

Okay, let me strip my previous theory down to it's basics, since it appears Cracklord isn't going to go the Metafiction route. Something, or someone is manipulating events, stitching together different characters and settings from different universes, and manipulating circumstances so that they come into hostile contact with the Twilight Vampires, then kill them, often in self-defense.

The obvious conclusion is that this entity or group wants to destroy this group of vampires: whether for amusement, to save the multiverse, or to doom it instead is currently a mystery to me.

Of course, the interesting wrinkle in this theory is that, for the most part, every Hunter would have left the Vampires alone if they'd hadn't acted like total *******s, either trying to kill the Hunters to accomplish some twisted plan of theirs, or more recently, preemptively assaulting them to foil prophecy (clearly, they haven't read much Greek Mythology). Heck, in a few recent setting, some of the rational Vampires in the family have even worked with the heroes to prevent apocalypse.

So, to restate again, something is stitching together characters and settings into specific, single universes, then influencing the behavior of certain members of the Cullen family/Volturi into being suicidal *******s, so that the Hunters slay them.

This means that even though this force is able to merge universes and settings together, they have more control over the Cullens than they do over the Hunters, if they can control the Hunters at all. This specific control differs from universe to universe: sometimes Edward is the crazy guy, othertimes Carlisee, othertimes Bella, othertimes Aro. Sometimes the Twilight Characters are slavishly loyal to the family, and sometimes some of them have the brains to bug out. This means that, whoever is manipulating the Hunters and Twipires isn't perfect or absolute in it's influence.

This is the most concrete of my speculation: Here's where I take another wild, and definitively incorrect guess.

Even though I'm pretty sure Cracklord hasn't read much Brandon Sanderson, this situation of manipulating entire groups of people, corrupting the hearts and minds of the Vampires, and fostering Madness and destruction reminds me somewhat of a particular antagonist (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Characters/Mistborn)...

No, that theory is bunk. For one thing, he's dead, and the primal power he's wielded is safely in the hands of someone else.

I'm stumped as to the identity of the "Huntsman" is.

On that theory, I've got a few ideas.
Let's strip away the bark; it's no Twi-character. They've all died before. Every one of them.

This isn't Meta enough for, say, DM or Stephanie Meyer.

It could be Lucifer, or The Source. But neither seems likely.

It could be the Phantom Stranger, though how I could never know.

It can't be an Endless, whatever this is is beyond them.

Lilith? No, no, John's beaten her, and she'd have no motivation.

Who would want a race of perfect Twipires killed off? Who would want them to be sucidal? Who...would...want...them...dead? To what end? Is Edward a 'Prison' that contains it? If he is killed, the gate is open and it is free? What entity functions like that?

"Do you have ANY idea who the HELL I am?!"
Kamina

+ Anything he says instantly becomes awesome.
+ Charisma. He is very charismatic, and extremely likable. He's also somewhat of a nice guy, though he's ego and arrogance gets in the way a little. He can also make speeches that will make everyone do whatever he says.
+ See that sword he carries around? That's not for show.
+ Gurren. As Simon is not around, not as powerful as it could be.
+ Fearless to the point of stupidity.
+ Sunglasses. That is all.

It helps I ran a campaign with a similar idea, if my theory is at least partially correct. If this was a game by someone who'd played one of those games, I'd be shouting 'Lich King'; but I haven't, so I'm not.

Is it Hitler? I don't know why, but I think it's Hitler. :smalltongue:

The Shoveler
2010-08-25, 12:08 AM
No, no. It couldn't be a Lich King. Because I'd be playing him :smalltongue:

If I had to make a random guess, I'd say Flying Spaghetti Monster. Deadpool. Why else would he be in most of these games? And how else would he know about the players in control of the Hunters?

I almost reworked my plot on the spot, for that suggestion. But I didn't.

Kamina, is approved. But don't post him until tomorrow, when I will have some idea what to do with him.

Or a small list of potential candidates-
The First Evil from Buffy. Unlikely, and I'm not the biggest Buffy Fan, but possible.

The Crimson King from alot of Stephen King stories, but before the Decay set in...but I doubt he'd be a contained evil.

Morgoth. Just Morgoth.
