Ive looked and looked for custom make items but to avail my searches were in vain but alas new hope is found "i" can make some, so to out further delay please enjoy some feats items and relics by RelicForger A.J.S

I know there are meta magic feats like maximize spell that allow max damage but what about the people who put hours into monks, and fighters only to be screwed over by damage resistance well i hope you'll enjoy some of these feats.

Maximize Blunt Force

Requirements- Unarmed Strike, Improved unarmed strike and a b.a.b of +10

Effect-no rolling for the combatants unarmed damage just apply all rolls as max damage for one action.
-This feat may be taken for every Action that the fighter is capable of. This
Feat can not be added to a monks flurry of blows only to a standard action.Any elementals burst effects from a weapons are not effected by Maximize Blunt Force but if its natural like psionic fist is effected by the feat.
Example: The monk swings his fist smack dab right in the face the monk has a 2d8 + 15 to damage the max you can get out of this with Maximize Blunt. Force is 2d8 = 16 + 15 str mod is 31. psi fist 2d6 = 12 + 31 = 42 get it!

Gloves of the Juggernaut +15 (Relic)
-this +15 gun metal gloves are full arm gloves with the finger tips cut off. The fabric of this unique pair of gloves appears as a thin like metal but is more flexible than the most fine tuned mage metals. Arcane and ancient runes are scribed in places over certain muscle locations. the knuckles have a strange golden armored shell on the tip.
-the wearer of this item gains a +8 to str, and dex,
-the damage for unarmed dmg / str mod is multiplied by 2
-After 1d6 weeks the gloves have flexed and reworked building your arms muscles Granting a permanent + 4 to str. If even one of the gloves are ever removed the processes will come to a complete halt and the processes will have began all over again with the roll. If the the enhancement ever succeeds it can start over and repeat the process.
-History- After suffering a loss at the hand of the king of giants the human monk Yggdrasil knew that the brute force of a giant muscles could not be attained by any normal standard. "All that back breaking training was it truly all for naught, those times when training intensified to the brink of my last breath. How?! How can all that be pushed away can we never truly break the limits of our bodies." Yggdrasil fell to his knees in a pool of his own blood. The giant king was moved by the 17 year old boy's plea, and impressed that he had put a dent in his famed armor that Odin him self had crafted. The giant placed his hand over and place his pinky finger on top of the boys head "child you have ventured to the valley of storm giants, braved the challenges of the elders. A single boy.. no a single man had the courage to stare me down in one on one combat. If thats not surpassing the limits of man Well son i just don't know what is." The King took Yggdrasil under his tutelage and trained under him for 25 years before he was taken to see the god Odin.
"What Brings you here King Gerald" The omni voice of rang loud and sent the mans hair on end. For the 2nd time Yggdrasil had felt fear. "Odin Brother! This is the boy that put the dent we talked about!" "Oh! Well son you must feel Proud!" "uh.. master whats going on?" "Today You join the ranks of the giants." Odin announced "this Armor should be enough to craft the item Odin i haven't any need of it longer." Gerald spoke "Whats this your giving him that. you must love him very much brother." "Like a son Brother" Gerald replied Odin began crafting the gloves, that took 350 years and in that time Yggdrasil trained under the scholars and heavenly fighters gaining untold masses of information and fighting techniques. He had truly surpassed the limits of man kind and found the pinnacle of his martial art. Even his body began to transcend time if any thing he looked younger more youthful than when he arrived. On the day he ascended Odin Bestowed the gloves to Yggdrasil "What will be your New name o' Child of the giant?" The monk thought long and hard but only one name came to mind. "Juggernaut"

-How to Destroy Juggernaut gloves
-Odin's Forge, And a True wish are the only means that this item can be destroyed.

-Other notes- When The wearer of this relic has The Juggernaut's Gi and Greaves Equipped They Gain Access to The Juggernaut Stage 3

okay lets see how about something for the sword wielding hero and don't worry im not all nice i bite.(got some evil relics in mind some curses to) but for now let see some good'ens

Feat [Max Slashing]
-requirement-Weapon Focus, Improved Weapon Focus, B.A.B +10

Example: The fighter swings his sword right trough the thick hide the fighter has a sword that dose a 2d8 + 15 to damage the max you can get out of this with Max Slashing is 2d8 = 16 + 15 str mod is 31. psi slash 2d6 = 12 + 31 = 42 get it!

-The Weilder of this +15 Katana is granted a +10 to str and a +7 to dex
-This sword has become so feared among evil doers that the sword becomes a favored enemy ALL granting a +10 to all checks involving attacking such as +hit, +confirm crit, atks of opportunity, and bonus to dmg, when faceing Tiamat +10 becomes +20
-3 times per battle this sword acts is a true strike spell granting a +20 to hit on a single action

-History- This sword was first folded when Bahumat's and Tiamat Fought on the earthly Realm To where after battles pieces of the dragon kings flesh, scales, and fangs could be found about the corps ridden battlefield a single survivor wandering the battle field in mourning over his fallen comrades "Tiamat must be stopped!" the man Shouts out as he scavenges through the many corpses for materials to use for the weapon he would create to slay the wicked dragon king. After many bodies the Man had Collected 555 mementos from several corpses The largest things that he carried where a large piece of Bahumat's Flesh and hide, A massive multicolored Scale From Tiamat's Torso, and many dragon fangs. "All i need now is a powerful enough metal to hold it all together." The estrange man said with a grimace look in his eye. Suddenly falling from the sky donned in a hail of white flames a strange metallic orb slams into the ground no more than 5 ft of the battle worn samurai he moves closer to examine the fallen object "BY THE GODS" The man hollers "A Tear From Bahumat" This will do quite nicely the man said with a deep grin on his face. The man became a well Known Black Smith but because of him being human age soon caught up with him, and the famous Sword of legend was still imperfect all of the swords imperfections still showed. So he passed the sword and the secrets to folding the steel on to his predecessor his only son. This Process was repeated over through a time of 10 generations of the Muramasa's Clan Until its completion. Only When one Worthy to wield this sword shows them selves in the pages of history will be chosen to wield this weapon.

Alrighty then lets try an not so powerful Feat and some minor to major artifacts

Feat [Futai-no-ki-wami]
-Requirement-unarmed strike, gorgon punch, B.A.B +8
-Effect-Add +20 to dmg on a single punch +40 a Crit add dmg after multiplication

Feat [Flash Movement]
-Requirement- Quick Movement
-Effect-Allowed to make a full movement at max speed x 2 at once per turn as swift action

Feat [Mellow Mind]
-Requirement-Still mind or Iron Will
-Effect-Stay calm no matter the situation +4 to bonus ac for situation bonus
like in a duel of iaijutsu battle

Feat [Bonus Feats]
-Requirement-initiative +10
-Effect-Select 2 other feats this feat can only be taken once

Feat [Bonus Luck mod]
-Requirement-initiative +10, 1 other luck feat
-Effect-when you roll a luck roll you can use the luck mod to augment the final by +1 or -1

Here are a few ideas for minor artifacts - to major

-Hammer of Mystic Transformation-Minor
- This hammer was crafted by a Half Dragon who was adopted by a dwarf as a birth day present to her father little did she know that she had crafted some of her soul into the object. The hammer is said to be for augmenting weapons that already have magic and improve on it. Depending on what condition the hammer is found in changes the power +
-Minor Old and Rusted-+1 To an item
-Mid Scrappy and not all there- +2 to an item
-Major Perfect condition-+4 to an item
-Rules- Once an item has been used on a item it can never be used again on that same item. Condition of the item when found is DM's Choice


-Tome Of Combat- Mid
-This thick 800 page book is said to be filled with ancient and powerful Battle Technics this book must be read 6 hours for 3 weeks straight uninterrupted or else the reader must succeed a DC 75 will save or Become Mentally Insane for 1d6 months(Extremely Risky) how ever if the reader manages to finish the book he or she gets.
-A + to dex and str depending on the + of the tome EXP- Tome of Combat +6 is the lowest that can be found and +10 is the max.
-The reader of this book is also granted a combat related feat DM's Choice.

-Tome of Magic-Mid

-History-This Omni potent Forge was Built by all the Known Good aligned Deities on Gods. After the The creation of the Soul Forge The Gods where handed a devastating loss on the celestial plane. Many gods Died that day, to balance the power the gods needed to find Replacements for the fallen ones. After the loss, All of the Gods other than evil ones, Gathered for a single meeting "The loss of Gods have thrown the magic into a phantasmal mess" The Neutral gods stated. "This must be fixed, many good people are dieing" The Chaotic Good Gods Demanded. "Nature is Withering The worlds will begin to crumble." Said the lawful good Gods. The order of the All-Gods Were in dismay and panic; when a single voice rang out "QUIET" A young human male screeched at the top of his lungs. The command of the well built Swordsman voice barely seemed to reach the ears of a few Gods over the bickering and insults being thrown back and foward. Out from behind the man a large 9ft humanoid figure Carrying a massive golden hammer bigger than his own body, the Giant man Donned in Celestial Full Plate mail trotted his way pass the Human male "Allow me Big Brother." The man lifted his golden winged helm, The mans face was very broad, his entire face seemed to be made of muscles only vague bits of fat seem to show around his cheek. The room fell Silent as the Party of adventures stood now as the center of attention. There are a small group of 7 people, among the group where four men ,The swordsman Ethona Was a 6foot 4inch human male Wearing an Azure Half Plate Mail, a thin black chain shirt, a strange tan Belt with a silver Dragons Buckle, a pair of Red Long Boots under a pair of Black grieves with Silver Runes Outlining the edges, and a tan Cloak over massive 8 ft broad sword. Joesph The 5foot 8inch Elven male wore all Light clothing and set up with man belts an Straps over his arms and cloths, on his back Lied a Large wooden long bow with entrancing carving of mystic elven runes. Me-uh was a short 4foot half-ling covered in a grass green Cloak, and in his hands was a large musty Tome written in many different languages, And the last was Multier half orc. The three remaining of the group are all lovely maidens the first is a half dragon female named Leria; the beautiful young Sorceress standing at 5feet 6inches wearing beautiful garments of the finest Crimson red, in her hands are an 9foot Oak long staff with A single flower blooming at the top. Past her is Aurnella a 5foot 5inch Human Female Wearing White Vestments and Robes with Gold lining around the edges she seemed to fashion no weapon, staff, or rod just a pair of white gloves with the symbol of longevity, and lastly a tall 5 foot 9inches woman named Rei wore a black robe with symbols of war and magic, at he hip lay a Thin Blood red Scimitar with a 6 foot blade. "Ehhh HEMM" Ethona cleared his throat of nerves "My humble Gods. We mortals have thought of a way to balance the power to a standstill once again. If a Forge of evil is thwarting Gods Then we must Balance out the power by asking the All-God for his assistance in creating a forge of equal power." "The All-God are you insane mortal do you not know that the All god is Truly a Neutral Entity even if he agreed to help do you have any idea as to the severity of what it will cost." One of the many gods spoke up. "Yes This has come to attention in more than one of our many conversation along our journeys and we've come up with a solution for that particular situation All we need from you is to summon him." Whisper jumped from god to god all discussing whether or not to go along with this ridiculous mortal's idea.
After month of useless banter the gods had reached a decision. "Since this truly a time of peril and we are are last wits so on this rare occasion the god have decided to agree to Contacting the All-God." The ritual began almost immediately the god all began working there magic when a sudden burst a celestial and serene energy wash over the room. An Ominous Voice Echoed through out every ones mind "To What Occasion was I summoned" The Hero's began explaining the plan "Very Well I shall Help in the creation of this forge however the price will be steep. What will you offer as components." Our Very lives will be the payment" the hero's said in tandem. "The price has been payed for in full. We will begin The processes immediately." As the voice Fished the hero's bodies burst into pure energy and was augmented with every God in the room, and for an entire millennium they crafted the Forge of the All God
-Description-There are 7 rooms all together 6 of witch are 80x90 ft major rooms with each a strange pedestal with Unique and Powerful arcane runes written in a circle around commonly known symbol. The first rooms Symbol is that of a fire, the next water, earth, wind, light and darkness. In the main room the 7th and final 200x100 ft room. Centered in the middle of the room stands a massive Forge with 6 pipes streaming into a massive 80 ft egg shaped device. All 6 of the elements are scribe into this soft and glass like egg, Through the glass like substance a Flame myriad colors burns fiercely can been seen there are several master craft tools neatly shelved on one of the many wooden racks in the room and strange mechanical devices.
-Location & How to Get There-The Entrance to All-God Forge Exist in a small pocket Dimension Between the First Layer of Hell and the Gates of Heaven. Only Souls of Hero's That has passed (aka Died in Honored Combat or in the service of good) can glimpse this powerful artifact and when they return from death they have no memory of the forge. However it is not forgotten simply berried deep within the subconscious. It can show itself over time through a fragment of dreams or visions leading you there ever so slowly.
-Rules-It was said to any Hero who use the forge would gain in item of other-worldly might. Only those of good intent may use this forge; and when one dose find this powerful Artifact they must make a pact with the All-God him or her self. To honor the Rightful Ways, If they see Evil they must strike it down with an iron fist. To Never Stray from an Honest Path, and to never reveal the location of this forge. If any one Breaks any one of the vows there are struck down by the All-God it self (insta Death no Save, No way to revive)
-The forge can turn any item into a epic + Item

Example: The archer takes aim breaths out then lets loose his arrow, flying at top speed the arrow pierces the thick hide of the monster the fighter has a bow that dose a 2d8 + 15 to damage the max you can get out of this with Max Piercing is 2d8 = 16 + 15 str mod is 31. psi arrow 2d6 = 12 + 31 = 42 get it!

So, what is the point of the first two relics exactly? They're just bigger numders which aren't all that interesting. If I were going to make a relic (Which I plan to do unless a relic has to be something along the lines of what you have here) I'd make one that gave the character new abilities. From what I can tell, the current relics only increase damage and there are better ways to get obscene amounts of damage in 3.5

Okay im not done with the top two you see theres more to the history(legend) i just haven't thought of it yet the gloves and the sword will gain more powers as their owner journey through out the world. And like all adventures they start of not really knowing the true power of a Relic

Im Thinking of adding a Set of items all together like
-Juggernauts Gi
-Juggernauts Greaves
-Muramasa's Star Plate Armor
-Masamune's Demon Sword

Personally, I'd prefer getting some new abilities first, and the boosts later.

Out of curiosity, what level are these intended for? I know they're intended to be epic level but I'm wondering at which level these would be available for use.

Also, I suggest changing the story about the Katana. It seems a little...like the guy is too lucky. He gets scales from gods and then a tear to craft the scales into a sword? I just feel like it's not a very interesting story when the guy gets pretty much everything given to him.

Also, this may be different in your, or the sword's, world, but Tiamat is female. She's Bahamut's sister and was intended to mate with him to create the perfect dragons. Just something I thought I should point out.

You make a good point the way i described dose indeed sound like every thing was given to him. But you see he was a soldier of Bahamut and the only surviving member of that army after a very long and drawn out battle. he lost all of his family and friends to the war and the whole tear thing was because Bahamut took pity on the lost soul. he searched for days on end scavenging to piles of corpses for suitable materials. I just didn't feel like writing down.:smallbiggrin:

okay today ill make the Juggernauts Gi

-Juggernauts Gi- +15 Relic
-Description- This +15 black sleeveless Gi Is woven from the mane of a powerful Demonic wolf named Fafnir The Fabric is woven in links so small and compact that the black fabric looks like the finest Hide man has ever seen. There are small symbols stitched over the lining of the Gi that look like a stream of black Fire that links together from the bottom of the Gi to around the neck.

-Effect- The Wielder of this +15 Juggernauts Gi is granted a
-+15 to A.C
-Immunity to Black Flames Hellfire
-Gain The Juggernaut Template
-1, per day character may cast a Black Flame spell as a level 20th caster
(25d10 non elemental damage, the spell is a 20x30 ft explosion of black flames
envelops the foes to ashes.)
-Every time an unarmed punch is made the foes are struck with a hands of hell fire doing a additional 2d10 points of damage.
-History- After Yggdrasil left the heavenly realm he found himself venturing across the land performing heroic deeds, left and right. Until one particular day when troubled news reached Yggdrasil; one of his friends a human Female fighter named Erika, whom is some one he saved in his ventures; journeyed to the third layer of hell and hadn't heard any word of her safe passage since. Yggdrasil Dashed off at his fastest movement heading in the location of the world gates. After seven days of non stop running he arrived at the massive stone gate, the carvings in this 80 ft set of stone door ways depict of many tales of creation both of beautiful and nightmarish carvings. The worried monk looked franticly for a particular door way. "Finally the Hell Gate" Whispered the distressed Monk. As he passed through the gate way entering an infernal waste land that is made up of lost souls. And like a Juggernaut Yggdrasil quickly forced his way to the third layer of Hell destroying any demon or monster that crossed his path. "Please still be okay!" Yggdrasil thought to him self as he walked though a demon city. "You there Child of the giants." A decrepit old lady hacked out. Yggdrasil eyes wondered over to the bright purple crystalline ball that laid on top of the old ladies lap. "Your looking for some one are you not? I Know where she is." "Where, Where is she." Yggdrasil's heart jumped "Is she okay?" he asked grabbing the old lady's arm. "Be still child i will tell you, for a price." "What will it cost?" "Your Life force child." the old lady grinned revealing a set of razor sharp teeth. "FINE WHATEVER! NOW TELL ME" "so quick to give your life boy. I like you. Very well i will tell you for 200 years of your life force." The old lady grabbed a hold of a strange box with golden runes and asked Yggdrasil to place this in the palm of his hand. Yggdrasil Grabbed the box with out hesitation as he did his body was enveloped in a golden aura that quickly whirled it's self into the box. None of Yggdrasil's Body features seemed to change other than his jet black hair. The lower half of the mans hair had turned Silver white. He handed back the box and as the old lady grabbed it. Time began to rewind. Youthful and Defined Shapes formed from under the long purple cloak and now in the old womans place stood a youthful enticing Tifeling. "Thank you." the half demon said with a seductive voice. "Where Is SHE?" Yggdrasil demanded "She has been fighting a Creature of legend and she still is." A peaceful smile came over Yggdrasil face that made the Tifeling Blush. "She still alive." a cool breeze of relief ran trough his chaotic mind set. "She is deep into the mountains North East of this town." With out a seconds delay he jolted out of the city gates the after image still emplace of where the Teifling was standing.
He ran through the planes of hell for a full day with out rest. Until he came upon a small clearing in the mountain. Dead demon wolfs lie dead, sprawled out in varies spots on the mountain path. Arrows and sword wounds are the clear cause of death he thought. Suddenly a large 25 ft pitch black wolf jumped out from the mountain side. As the creature leaped down ward Yggdrasil Griped the creatures hind leg. "Would you be as kind enough to drop her." As Yggdrasil squeezed the wolfs leg a large snapping noise could be heard. The monster let out a dying whelp as his jaw lifted, a beautiful young woman fell from the creatures mouth. Her arm had been bitten to the point where the bone was showing. "Erika" the monk yelled out running over to her fallen body. He began healing the wound as he did so he noticed a large silver long blade breaching the wolfs chest. "Bastard bit me and took me for one last ride." "Erika You, Why did you come here. Hell of all places?" "For you silly" She said planting her lips on his. Yggdrasil face flushed but he returned her feelings in full. After Yggdrasil finished healing Erika she asked him to take Fafnir's Mane so she could craft him a Gi of power. After some time the item was finished and gifted to Yggdrasil along with Erika's Heart.

The level for the items are for ohhhh... lets say 16-20th level in Epic Thats Level 36-40

Okay, then these items will not be allowed except in extremely overpowered games.

A +15 item is about 4 million more gold than a 20th level character is assumed to have by your chart. If one of my players showed up to me with either item I'd flat out say "No. Way too powerful."

I allow homebrew, and I'll allow just about anything in my games as long as the intent isn't to break the game with it. However, that's what your items do. The sword isn't remotely reasonable as a weapon at these levels. The gloves, while not quite as bad, are still broken. The only way I'd let the player use this is if I made it clear that as a consequence the enemies were going to be much more powerful as well and then they'd know what a well optimized wizard can do.

If you want these items to be usable at those levels, you have to compare them to items that are available at those levels. I've even looked at several artifacts and nothing is available at those levels that give you the abilities those items do.

Last but not least, a 20th level character isn't going to be fighting Tiamat, much less killing her.

Example: The monk swings rapidly his fist smacking the creature right in the face the monk has a 2d8 + 15 to damage the max you can get out of this with Maximize Flurry is 2d8 = 16 + 15 str mod is 31. psi fist 2d6 = 12 + 31 = 42 get it!

-If the Character dose not have a Flurry of Blows or an Armed Flurry they gain one. Your Highest level in a single class equal to the monks flurry chart.
-Example Your level 10 so you gain a +8/+8/+3/+3 Flurry this is the monks chart for a level 10 Flurry

• A Strength check to avoid the effects of a bull rush, trip attempt, or similar effect.

throw, the juggernaut can use this ability to gain a Will saving throw. He still gains the +20 bonus on the saving throw in such a case.

Stage 3

+Juggernaut Permanency- The Character Gains The Juggernaut Template permanently even without wearing the equipment.

+Vorpal Strike -Benefit: Your unarmed strike is considered to be a slashing vorpal weapon. (At your option, any unarmed strike can do bludgeoning damage instead, but it loses the vorpal quality.) This ability doesn’t stack with similar abilities (for instance, if some other effect has already granted your unarmed strikes the vorpal quality).

Okay, then these items will not be allowed except in extremely overpowered games.

A +15 item is about 4 million more gold than a 20th level character is assumed to have by your chart. If one of my players showed up to me with either item I'd flat out say "No. Way too powerful."

I allow homebrew, and I'll allow just about anything in my games as long as the intent isn't to break the game with it. However, that's what your items do. The sword isn't remotely reasonable as a weapon at these levels. The gloves, while not quite as bad, are still broken. The only way I'd let the player use this is if I made it clear that as a consequence the enemies were going to be much more powerful as well and then they'd know what a well optimized wizard can do.

If you want these items to be usable at those levels, you have to compare them to items that are available at those levels. I've even looked at several artifacts and nothing is available at those levels that give you the abilities those items do.

Last but not least, a 20th level character isn't going to be fighting Tiamat, much less killing her.

So, you have to have 16 levels in an epic class before these are viable, I.E. Level 36?

That's more reasonable I think but I have no experience with epic levels. All I know about them is what I've heard and what I've heard isn't good.

Also, the Gi and the gloves sound like they're Monk weapons. Maybe have a requirement that you have to have "X" levels in Monk to use them? (X being, whatever you think is a reasonable amount). Especially since, if you don't, the Juggernaut's Gi kind of steal's the Monk's Schick.

EDIT: I'm getting off now. I'll respond tomorrow.
