It's gestalt so I don't have to worry about losing spellcasting. I have a single level left on my other side and am looking for something useful & interesting. It can have PrC spellcasting advancement, I just won't get any benefit from that aspect.

Any help much appreciated,
K-B

I'm a big fan of Factotum dips, either for 1 level or 3 if you can.

INT to a roll a few times per day is pretty cool, but INT to all STR and DEX checks, as well as STR and DEX based skills, is really awesome.

Sorcerer. Then Ultimate Magus.

Depends on the build you have. Archmage may be worth it if you already have the feats. Divine Oracle is always nice for a quick evasion grab. Dragonslayer can get you proficiency in all martial weapons and armors. Iot7V is too sweet not to grab for an abjurer. Mindbender also means Mindsight.

Ooh, I forgot about Factotum. TS is something I don't know and don't want to learn for a 1 level dip. Sorcerer is no good coz it's a late level (13). Already have Archmage earmarked for once I qualify.

DO sounds interesting though, where's it from?

Also Evasion+ at I want to say second level. The rest of the class is underwhelming.

What's your build currently?

Dragon Shaman might be interesting for some minor healing abilities (Vigor). Warlock has some nice Least invocations for always-on goodies. Binder is another good one for some interesting tricks.

Warblade is amazing if you take it on or after your 9th character level. That will put your initiator level at 5, so you can get Iron Heart Surge and Absolute Steel Stance. If anyone tries to tell you that you have to get a 1st level stance at your first class level, point out that it says 'You begin play with knowledge of one 1st-level stance' so it really means that if you're eventually going to multiclass into Warblade you can have a stance at 1st level no matter what class you take, which is a more valid interpretation by RAW but it's just as silly. Even at the first class level you can get any stance available at your class and initiator level.

Beguiler is a good one-level dip, especially if you get Versatile Spellcaster from Races of the Dragon. That will allow you to spend two 0th- or 1st-level spell slots to cast any 1st- or 2nd-level spell you know, including wizard spells you've made the spellcraft check to understand even if you didn't put them in your spellbook. This will also give you knowledge of every 2nd level Beguiler spell, so you can spend two 1st-level spell slots to cast those as well. Plus if you picked Enchantment for a prohibited school you'll still be able to cast Charm Person to dip a level of Mindbender.

Wild Shape Ranger (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#ranger) gets Fast Movement as the Barbarian class feature at the first level. It gets great saves and skill points, and you'll be able to use wands of any Ranger spells your Wisdom score is high enough (10 + spell level) for.

Psion 1 wouldn't be a bad idea, you can spend your bonus feat on Practiced Manifester to get better durations and augmentation, and you could take other psionic feats like Metamorphic Transfer. Hopefully your DM will let you include Practiced Manifester when determining your bonus powerpoints for a high Int score.

Archivist (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20051007a&page=3) will add some Int-based divine casting, plus you'll still get Scribe Scroll if you traded it for a Wizard ACF (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/specialistWizardVariants.htm). Again you can use wands of any spells on your class spell list, which you'll use Int to determine the highest level ones accessible.

Cloistered Cleric (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#clericVariantCloistere dCleric) would be amazing for a dip, especially if you're somewhat of a Gish since you can trade the Knowledge domain for Knowledge Devotion from CC. I'd probably choose domains from Celerity, Time, Inquisition, Luck, Courage, Creation, Planning, Purification, Pride, Pestilence, and Summoner; there are a lot of good domain powers to pick up! If you happened to go with a Shadowcraft Mage build, the Illusion and Gnome domains are must-haves, plus you can take the spontaneous domain casting ACF from PH2 with DMM: Heighten, which will also work with Residual Magic.

Binder is awesome for Naberius, giving great Diplomacy bonuses and Fast Healing for ability scores (so you can cast Greater Luminous Armor as much as you want). Alternatively, take cloistered cleric, the best 1 level dip in the game. Planning Domain gets you Extend Spell for free, while Pride Domain lets you reroll natural 1s. There are numerous other options for domains/domain feats as well, but those are my favorites for casters. It also opens up some useful spellcasting/magic item options (like Beads of Karma). See handbook (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=2773.0) for more.

Dragonfire Adept could get you +6 bonuses to all Knowledge and Spellcraft checks.

Alternatively, ignore Absolute Steel (there are other ways to get enhancement bonuses to your speed); pick up Iron Heart Surge and White Raven Tactics. You'll need to use your Stance on something from White Raven as a prerequisite, but fortunately, either of the Level 1 White Raven stances is a pretty decent constant-effect full-party buff. That way, you also don't have to argue about whether the stance you learn has to be Level 1 or not.

Binder, for versatility. If you take the Improved Binding feat, you can bind 2nd level Vestiges as well as first, adding even more versatility.
