No, i'm not looking for help in building one. rather, one of the DMs for our current campaign is willing to give me a custom item that acts like a belt version of a handy haversack (which he dubbed as Bruce's Utility Belt) under the condition that I get hold of a headpiece that, as the title implies completes the look. I've inadvertently gotten some of the other parts of the costume (cloak of resistance and a mithral twilight chain shirt, which the DM had painted black shortly after that announcement). as i ended up lugging around a lot of unused extra scrolls and wands of low level utility spells...

any ideas of a decent headpiece that also completes the look, and is there an actual item that resembles said belt?

and yes i know it's silly.

Belt of Many Pouches is the actual utility belt item.... not as good value as a Haversack though. Hence why I never get one, despite it being awesome.

No headpiece that looks like cowl as far as I know.

Here is the belt: The Utility Belt (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?PHPSESSID=3d7801a927efe9d32617863ef4a904 39&topic=4400.0) also consider adding items from Shax's Indispensible Haversack (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148101)
For the headpiece use Thieving Helmet from Arms & Equipment Guide (reference on page 26, picture on page 25)

There are a few animal helmet looking things. Look at Magic Item Compendium, especially in the Set section.

It's not Batman persay...

but my wizard's look includes a badass longcoat (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BadassLongcoat) with plenty of hammerspace (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Hammerspace), along with a tactical vest (Dragon Magazine 323, pg. 103) with similar pockets.

I also aim for:

utility belt of many pockets of course
half mask (http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/1161/0halfmask.jpg) (helps prevent verbal components from being recognized)
fedora
tall riding boots
fingerless gloves (hopefully made of dire shark hide for an awesome grip)
black dragonscale bracers

///////////////////////////////////////

If you must wear armor, I would recommend tying to get yourself a suit of form-fitting nightscale armor from Underdark (p. 66).

1000 gp // +2 AC // +10 max dex // 0 check penalty // 5% AF // 3 lbs

The 5% AF can be negated with the caster armor template from Dragon Magazine or the githcraft template from DMG2. (but If i was a DM, i'd say they don't stack)

Darkvision (and possibly truesight) goggles might be order for you as well.

badass longcoat (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BadassLongcoat)

Shivving Duster - Dragon Magazine #339 page 36 - definitely a badass longcoat

It's called a Hat of Disguise (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/wondrousItems.htm#hatofDisguise). Can look like anything. Hell, can make you look like Batman, if you want.

Hat of Anonymity. Reflavoured as a hood or cloth helm. Gives a bonus to hide and a nondetection effect. MIC.

Keep in mind you can use item stacking and modification rules to customise things further than appearence.

Sure is, too bad it doesn't count as +1 nightscale armor, but im sure any cloth or flexible leather armor could easily be incorporated into that item.
Or make it count as a robe and not have it count as armor at all if you enjoy an unarmored class bonus to AC.

Cloak of the Bat is just silly enough to work. For the headgear, I second Hat of Disguise.

Circlet of Rapid Casting with +6 Int on it, and Disguise added to that for 1.5x. You are a caster, craft it yourself. CoRC is AMAZING, and cheap. Adding Int on it doesn't increase the value by 1.5, thanks to body slot affinity rules in the MIC. Only Disguise gets added at a premium, which isn't that much considering how cheap Disguise is.

Now THIS is the level of ridiculous power that a Batman wizard deserves.

My wizard (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=103401) uses the heck out of his (http://plothook.net/RPG/forumdisplay.php?f=1720), even at level 14...

Well, minus the Disguise part, but I could have it added...
