Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb is a third-person action-adventure game made by The Collective and Lucasarts. It was released in 2003 for the PS2, Xbox and PC (and Macs, but nobody cares about that). It's essentially a Tomb Raider clone, but with Indiana Jones instead of Lara Croft. And instead of shooting people with handguns, you beat them to a pulp with your bare hands. Well, you shoot them too. You also whip them. And throw stuff at them.

There's not very many Indiana Jones games, only a handful or so, but this is definitely one of the better ones. If you ever find it, I suggest checking it out, even if you're not a huge Indy fan. It's still a pretty solid game on its own.

The story is set in 1935, just before the events of Temple of Doom, which is a prequel itself, making this one of Indy's earlier adventures. There's some references to the movies in the game to watch out for, but since none of the movie plots have actually happened yet, they tend not to dwell on them. Which is probably a good thing. The game's plot is self-contained and pretty self-explanatory as well. Everything you need to know will be revealed in-game, so I won't blather on about it here.

Now, videos!

Indiana Jones and Lara Croft totally need to team up in something. Somebody, make it happen.

Huh, apparently Indy's grip is so weak that he immediately lets go of his weapon when he gets hit. Odd, that. And it seems to be contageous. >_>

Of course Von Beck is a bad guy. He has a peerage, after all.

I'll be following this LP with interest.

Part 1-3 is now up, featuring more water escapades. For some reason, Blip mangled the quality of this one upon converting it to an FLV. Apologies for that. The Viddler version seems to have fared a little better, though.
