Is myth-weavers down? I can't access it.

Thanks.

Nope, works for me. Is it the only site not showing up?

Yes, everything else is working fine.

It just won't stop loading and the screen remains blank.

For future references, if you can't access a site, try checking here (http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/).

Thanks for the link.

Now that I know that it's "just me", do you have any ideas about what I could do?

Switch your router off, wait five seconds, and switch it on again?

I don't have a router.

Then unplug your modem and do the same thing.

I just tried that. Unfortunately, no luck.

does the site respond to ping?

open the command promt and type ping mythweavers.com

and see what you get as a response. If you don't detect any problems with sending packets, try another browser or remove cookies and history and try again.

It doesn't respond to ping. It tried to send four packets, all four were lost.

hmm, just discovered that it's actually myth-weavers.com, still no luck with the ping? Or id you try that address?

Sounds like you might have a firewall or something somewhere blocking the site.

Yes it's myth-weavers.com that I tried.

I haven't changed my firewall settings, or any settings.

what happens if you ping 75.101.153.52? Same result?

one thing that might be tried is go to a translation site, they can act as proxies, if you can get some to translate from English to English (or whatever your language might be) you can see if its a firewall problem that way.

I pinged 75.101.153.52 and got a 100% packet loss again.

I just tried a translation website and it worked! But now it is also working when I access it normally... Strange? Is it a coincidence that it started working again at that precise moment?

Somehow, even though I can access the site at the moment, the ping is still dead.

Well sadly it has stopped working again (and I'm on a different computer).

Would someone be kind enough to look for the email address where I can contact them about such issues? I assume there is one, but since I can't access the site I don't know what it is.

All done by forum, Im afraid. It's most likely not anything they have control over, though. Probably some form of mis-routing by a server near you.

Pop on a proxy until it gets fixed.
