I will be using DMing on an IRC server. So I am looking for a couple of things.

A: Reaaaaaly hoping to find something like msn had back in the day where it's essentially paint. But 5 people can be connected to it. It would be sooooo helpfull when drawing out dungeons as thier entering them, so I am looking to find a website to do that.

B: Really need character sheets at the moment. Looking for websites that can host character sheets.

For chracter sheets you cen try Mythwevers (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetindex.php#). It has not onoly shhet for probably every systemm you can imagine, but also a lot of Dm tools. comunity fora, and even their own wiki, it seems.
Canīt think of any way to help with your second request though. Sorry.:smallconfused:

Myth-Weavers is the best site for character sheets. You need to sign up but it's free and very similar in layout to GitP.

You probably know this but just in case the d20SRD (http://www.d20srd.org) has the core, psionics & epic rules for D&D 3.5. It also has a load of variant rules.

Invisiblecastle (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/) is a dice roller that you can post links to to show your rolls. Can be useful if your gaming medium doesn't have one built in.

As for maps maybe make them in Excel (so you can map squares) and post them on photobucket or something similar?

Have you seen MapTool (http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=downloads)? It's basically meant for that, and since it has a built-in chat with dice roller, it kind-of-sort-of makes the IRC end redundant.

Yeah, I was going to suggest MapTool as well.

If you want to draw stuff besides maps there's something that I believe is called PaintChat. Haven't used it myself, but I've seen cool stuff made with it.

I really only use Skype and a dice roller, haven't ever used maps, so I can't comment on that.

However, www.catchyourhare.com/diceroller is fantastic for a dice roller: set a password and all your players see all dice rolls in real time.

Anyone have any reccomendations for the paintchat. Found a coupke of sites that requires membership and just looking for a decent review on sites people have personally used

Vassal is an app you can use...it's lightweight and java, so it runs on about anything. It's got maps and such you can use, and each player can just drag their character around. Dice rollers are built in, of course, as is chat, and you've got the ability to pw-protect rooms.

Also, it's free.

Well, I loaded maptools, and the thing looked as complicated as wc3 editor. Seems like a lot of hibbidy doo when all I really want is to be able to draw squigglys of the battlefield.

How about using openRPG?
I didnīt use it yet but I have seen videos of it and it seems capable atleast
plus there are some good howtos online:

tool:
http://www.rpgobjects.com/index.php?c=orpg

howto:
http://www.lordkat.com/how-do-i-use-openrpg.html

There are also some funny d&d sessions with spoony as a dm on the site

You click on the paint tool and draw squigglys on the battlefield, then ;) I will admit maptool take a minute or two to learn, but honestly, it can incredibly simple once you take the time to play around for a bit. You can get wonderfully complex later.

MapTools isn't that hard. I just used it "live" for the first time Saturday. If you stick to basic "tokens on a map" functionality, it's pretty easy to deal with.

We're using Fantasy Ground 2 (http://www.fantasygrounds.com/) so a friend of ours (who currently in Japan) can play with us, but I would keep using it anyway just for the map on my flat screen.

Should work for you.

It has it all except voice com. Having an in build D&D 3.5 ruleset is quite useful, too.
