Without using ToB or MoI in particular along with no Variants preferred.

Only the basic races and no LA - Most other books open and for v3.5

What is the highest DPS class i could make to start from level 1?

I thought Barbarian Charger - Barbarian Frenzied Berserker or maybe the Totem Barbarian but... some of you are more knowledgeable than me.

Any idea's or possible builds you could throw me?

Another active thread discussing this. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=166534)

Surely it should be "Damage Per Round" rather than "Damage Per Second".

That's just a scaling factor of 6. The two quantities are exactly proportional.

As proportional as they are, isn't it easier to figure and relate to DPR?

Looks like WoW has finally taken over the industry.

That helped immensely.

Not if you use a Spell Clock!

Based on the OP's criteria, I'd have to go with Fighter Alt from Unearthed Arcana. Swap bonus feats for sneak attack. Give him a nice two-handed weapon and he should be good to go. Take Improved Feignt as soon as possible and you'll be sneak attacking just about every round before you know it.

Yeah i have seen that too but the objects that he is able to throw for the mass damage - how exactly does he crry these around?

Also, which books should i be looking through for those?
Did i see Hulking Hurler in the same book as Frenzied Berserker or was that a different thrower?

It really is tempting to go with this just because i know my DM cant stop me from doing this really. The shrinking and enlarging them could be a problem though.

If someone cant or doesnt want to enlarge and shrink them or dies, then i am elft as a really large strong guy i guess?

If you want to have the party wizard blowing spells on shrinknig/enlarging rocks, and you don't mind blowing a round to enlarge them every battle, I'd allow it. Honestly, it's not meant to be abused like that, nor should it be. Make him primarily the war hulk, but if someone runs and there happens to be a boulder nearby, the feel free to give it a go.

Alternatively, carry a bag(s) of holding full of small orbs of very very dense material.

Or a Haversack for better access.

Although, based on some comments in the Hulking Hurler thread, all you really need to do is make your hurler good at grappling, and throw the enemies at walls/other enemies.

If your enemies are your projectiles, then running out of ammo isn't a bad thing anymore.

You always have ammo when you can pick up the world from beneath your feat to throw at your foes!

Of course, that depends where you are standing. Loose soil has a rather low tensile strength.

Nonsense! Look, this Hulking Hurler is picking up the world from the sand:

Her target had better have miss chances or something.

Are there what-ground-can-support rules in D&D? Because you can't bring physics into the Hulking Hurler. :smalltongue:

No, I'm just saying that if you try to throw something you're holding onto by part of it which is made of sand, all you end up throwing is two handfuls of sand.

Y'know, if the object is large enough, its gravity will handle that particular issue. Especially since you throw it in more or less vacuum since...well you just threw the only source of relevant gravity in the area.

Yes it needed to be quoted again.
