O.o you're right, you do look like that guy. Which is odd really, because I think this is one of your more feminine looking pics. I don't think that scar is too fake looking, but I guess it is compared to what you can do if you actually give it a little more work?

I went to the Viking Festival today to watch some vikings fight.

Probably similar, they're a pretty common design. Mine are a modded pair of Cyberdog goggles, they've got a working CPU fan attached in front of the right eye. It's like built in air conditioning! :smallbiggrin:

although quite a few clubs (spurs, west ham and even orient) have shown interest in taking on the olympic statium after the games.

Compared to Sussex, the south-west is the tourist board's pin-up, which is a shame because this end of the south coast is really nice as well. I really should get some photos of the countryside around here, since it's all so nice and picturesque, with a good mix of archetypally English and uniquely local.

I'm someone who needs trees around him to relax, and who loves to have things around that predate him by centuries or millennia, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that Sussex has more ancient woodland than anywhere else in England, and has lots of castles, churches, abbeys, and other ruins of all kinds.

So yes, I like my area (incidentally, my location only says Hastings because it's the nearest town - while some of Hastings is nice, a lot of it isn't - it's the exception that proves the rule, if you will).

In most of England forests, woodlands and the like are relatively new, since from the Anglo-Saxon period through the Middle Ages nearly all of the land was used for farming, and other forests such as the New Forest were exclusively for royals to hunt in. Thus the abundance of ancient woodland is quite odd.

Was I? Sorry, I'm easily distracted. That, and I have no knowledge of english faeries....before this, weren't we talking about houses? I live in a little patch of semi-rural land between two cities. It used to be a wetlands like 200 years ago. Fortunately they can't force us out, because the damage was done generations ago. That and there's like 600 people in this little town. If I owned a camera i'd show you.
