i never had libris mortis and i was wondering what a light stick is. I understand its over powered but i want to know what it does. Can someone help me?

It grants extra turn undead attempts. Which is only broken when you stack them, and let them function for Divine feats, most notably Divine Metamagic (Persistent Spell). If you make them only usable for, you know, Turning Undead? Not so bad.

It increases the number of turn undead attempts you have per day. The brokenness comes from the fact that, according to the text, you merely need to have it in your possession (rather than holding it or wielding it) for it to function. When you add that people decide that it can stack with itself, ridiculous things can happen.

Note: the true reason it's called a Night Stick is because that's what the DM will beat you down with if you try to use it for DMM shennanigans! :smalltongue:
