The description (from Tome of Battle) says that you get +10 foot enhancement to all jumps, but what precisely does that mean?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Sounds like if your jump check says you should manage 15 feet horizontal, you instead get 25 ft.
Your vertical jump is the real winner though. Your unassisted vertical jump check might be only 4 feet due to a bad roll, but with the stance you'd now get 14 feet.

Has there been errata for that stance? It seems like "a +10 power bonus(stackable with everythign but itself) to your jump check" or "All jump DC's are reduced by 10," would be much more balanced.

The ToB errata mentions like 3 maneuvers before it becomes the errata for some other book, and no Wizards is not going to fix it.

I read it exactly like it says. Roll your Jump check, figure out how far/high you jumped, and add 10 feet to it if you're in that stance. Works really well with the Tiger Claw jumping maneuvers.

Technically, this stance should have been edited better, because it grants a "+10 foot enhancement bonus on Jump checks." Skill checks are not measured in feet, so a pedantic reading of this stance means it does nothing.

There are three ways to interpret this: the first is that it adds a straight 10 feet to the distance you jump, no matter what. The second is that it grants a +10 bonus to your Jump check, which corresponds to an additional 10 feet of distance to the long jump and an additional 2.5 feet of distance to the high jump. Finally, this could mean that it adds a +10 foot enhancement bonus to your base land speed for the purposes of making Jump checks, which is equivalent to a +4 bonus on the Jump check.

The third option doesn't seem like a proper interpretation, since many characters have enhancement bonuses to base land speed already, making the stance useless. Also, a +4 bonus is not very significant, certainly not enough to spend one of your valuable stance slots on.

In either of the first two interpretations, the character jumps an additional 10 feet horizontally, and the question is whether he jumps 10 feet or 2.5 feet higher into the air in the high jump while in this stance. I tend to favor the latter interpretation, as it is more inline with the rest of the game, and a straight +10 ft of height seems to powerful.

TL;DR: IMHO, simply remove the word "foot" from the description, and have it grant a +10 enhancement bonus to Jump checks.
