PM issue: Users not found

I tried to send a PM today to three of my players. One of their names was there automatically by clicking the "send PM" option under their name in one of their posts, the other two were copy/pasted, so there's no spelling errors.

However all three came up as user not found.

Any reasons why this might be happening?
