[Mercenary Pen]

Razor stirred from his age-long slumber, he had passed these years in sleep awaiting a season when greater provenance was in the land- that the full might of his awesome presence might be sustained as it had not been this past age. Coming toward him, he sensed a mighty presence, one almost as great as his own, he thought- though that was almost unthinkable to him.

Spreading his scaled wings, he glided down to meet this intruder within his caves, revealing his grand draconic form before the intruder.

The entrant stared up at the giant dragon above him. A tall man of intermediate gender, but hunched; thin strands of black hair ran down the side of his hair; each strand tinged with grey. Crow's feet and stress lines covered his face. He blinked, and waved the dragon off; his coat sleeves bounced off his arms. He didn't seem to open his mouth, yet a voice still reverberated around the cave.

I care not for your identity. I am the Grand Duke of the Dark World, and I am only here to, he smiled as the voice continued booming. Arrange matters, you could say, for my emissary. Nex! In the man's hand, a chain could be seen; the kind used on particularly aggressive dogs to ensure that they didn't run out of the hands of little old ladies. As the Grand Duke pulled, a... thing entered. Looking like a human, yet it seemed to be something doing a bad job of it; it hadn't quite grasped the purpose of it's legs, and was instead walking in a strange shuffle. It pulled up next to the Grand Duke, it stopped. Defeat this mongrel, Nex. I have other matters to attend to. The voice finished booming; the man took a few steps towards the dragon. With every step he took, something glowing and blue seemed to remain behind him. As he walked, he seemed to vanish into the air, and he did so.

Nex looked up at the dragon and blinked. The duel disc swung into action.
