Feel kinda foolish asking this one, but the Rainbow Beam spell deals 1d12/3 levels. Would this mean casting it @ CL3 would net 2d12 beam(s)?

Give me an opinion here Sallera:

Using the Rainbow Beam spell, should I keep it or find something else.

On one hand it gives random damage type, so it will be hard to use resist potions to protect against. Keeps me from being a single elementalist on damage.

The other, A 1d12 for damage. I believe that there are more damaging spells out there, Seeking Ray for example does 4d6. Limits my major damage dealt to electrical and can be potioned.

Aye, 6th. (Also, I noticed that I never got around to doing flaws, so I'll take Murky-Eyed and Vulnerable.)

Spell finishes casting. It is now raining on a 100ft radius centred on M13/N14 (in other words, the whole map). Fire damage gets -1 damage/die, ranged attacks take a -4 penalty.

With the Ok on the Arcane Bolt spell, I think I have my Lvl 2 picked out. In the Champions of Valor p.57-58, the spell is named Silver Dragonmail. :smallbiggrin: Since it doesn't list a cost for the mithral dragonscale, it would be included into a components pouch correct?

Yeah the fatal flaw of those who are casters. They think they are above such things and yet here two were rolling around in the mud trying to kill each other.
