A girl enters camp. She is very beautiful/hot/sexy and is wearing ery little, just the bare minimum covered and sone transparent cloths and a shall. She appears to be the stereotypical dancing, traveling, gypsy. She definitely is new.

The boy continues to limp through the forest, moving slower and slower. When he's nearly crawling, he makes a weak punching movement with his scratched arm towards the sky. A large fireball emerges from it, tunnels through the trees without leaving a mark, and explodes in a large red flame ten meters above the tree line, easily seen from all around Camp.

He then collapses, unconscious.

So without the blessed thing, he would be one of the most powerful demigods at camp. But he can't fight, so he cannot hurt people, therefore he can't really affect the plot. So all's well.

and starts to jog around camp, wincing every few seconds from residual cramps and pain.
