Hello, there Playgrounders!

I'm hoping to compile a list of the various humanoids with different movement types (burrowing, swimming, climbing, flying, etc.). Please do not include templates, but just races. Thank you!

The only ones I can think of off-hand are Raptorians and Dragonborn with Flight, though I seem to remember some version of Gnomes with burrow.

Here's my list:

Asherati have "sand swim," which is exactly what it sounds like. Sandstorm.
Aquatic variants all have a Swim speed. Unearthed Arcana.
Stormwrack has 4 different races with a Swim Speed as well. Darfellon is the only useful one.
Mountain Spirit Folk: Climb speed. Unapproachable East.
Vanara: Climb Speed. Oriental Adventures.
Jungle Goblin: Climb Speed. Unearthed Arcana.
Hengeyokai: Various animal alternate forms, offering every movement type. Oriental Adventures.

What's wrong with Aventi Human? It counts as human, but adds a swim speed and water breathing. Plus there's no level adjustment. Aquatic features for free!

Also check out the various anthropomorphic animals from Savage Species.

Silverbrow humans have Slow Fall as SLA. That counts as alternative movement, right? :smalltongue:

Nope- they all have a 30ft Land speed, which is pretty good for Small creatures.

Half celestial and half fiend both have fly speeds. Half dragon gets a fly speed if large sized or bigger(or if the DM agrees to allow it for a smaller PC.)

Good list to have for Alter Self if your from a humaniod race:

Locanth Swim 60
Merfolk Swim 50
Aquatic Elf Swim 40

Decent (but not full) list can be found here: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Humanoid_Type

That sight isn't as fast as d20srd.org but I like the layout better for many things.
