Such as using a swift action teleport and then full attacking. The rules seem unclear to me. It says you can only take a 5 foot step while full attacking but that may only be referring to movement.

Yes, you can. Full-round actions consume only your standard and move actions.

And to add

Immediate actions also count as swift actions in that regard.

No, not while making the full attack. Before or after on your turn, yes.

Also note: as you probably already know, a 5 ft step is a non-action, and does not affect your swift, immediate or free actions.

Wrong. You can do it in the middle of the full attack.

You can make a swift action any time you could make a free action. You can draw ammunition as a free action (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/weapons.htm#ammunition), which allows bow users to make full attacks. If you could not make a free action (and hence a swift action) during a full attack, bow users would not be able to full attack (since they would need to wait until after their attacks to draw a second arrow). Since bow users obviously can full attack (and are required to in some cases, for example, to use Rapid Shot (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/feats.htm#rapidShot)), you must be able to perform a free action in the middle of a full attack.

Since swift actions function like free actions (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/actionsInCombat.htm#swiftActions) with the sole additional restriction of 1 swift action per turn, you can perform a swift action in the middle of a full attack.

e: added some links.

That is correct. For example, my eldritch knight with bab+16 could first make 3 attacks, then cast a quickened true-strike before making his 4th attack. Or if the foe falls after the 2nd hit, abrupt jaunt 10-ft away to another foe and attack him with your remaining 2 attacks.

No, not while making the full attack. Before or after on your turn, yes.You can only use swift actions during your turn. You might be thinking about immediate actions, but even those can be used on your turn.
