Wonderful. I used to play it when I was 13-14, but it still has all its charm.

I fairly rapidly got to the point where I could just "read" the on-screen language without having to look up the various logos, but never managed to get very far. I'd always run up against some alien that only ever said "you/me/reproduction", and couldn't get any further (unless you count getting sick of him and vapourising his home planet as progress)

Ah, probabily they were the Croolis Ulve! One of the first 4 aliens in the game was Croolis Ulv Dead Genetic...
