Search not working

Whenever I try to search I get a blank screen. I've tried on a couple of computers. Here's what it looks like:

Tried several types of search, and it happens only with advanced search, which may mean the problem is probably either Firefox- or server-related. For reference, I'm using Mac OS X 10.5.8 and Firefox 3.6.3.

Until a solution or answer comes from the mods, try searching specific forums using the "Search This Forum" option at the top of each forum, as that seems to work fine for me, despite advanced search not working.

The search this forum gives me the same result, as does Internet Explorer.

Strange. I've tried several different forums and settings, as well as types of search, and it doesn't seem to have a pattern I can recognize, if it indeed has a pattern, as it may work at one time and fail to work at another time using the exact same parameters.

You can search the forums much easier and faster using google. Just include "site:giantitp.com XXXX" in your google search window and replace XXXX with the name or topic you are searching for. Thats what I do, predominantly, unless I know EXACTLY what I'm searching for.

This has happened to me a fair bit lately. I second the Google search suggestion. Which also lets you search old FFRP threads, which don't show up on the board search, it might be noted. :smallsmile:
