Hi there. I am relatively new but hope some of you more tech savvy playgrounders can help me out. I do not have as much experience with computers as I would like (just built my first desktop). My first problem is that when I start said desktop, the Windows starting screen with the flowing dots appears (windows 7 64bit) but then the screen goes black. If I type my password in and hit enter, it displays my background image, but doesn't allow me to do anything. No toolbar, no icons, no CAD.
My second problem is that when I start Minecraft on it, it says my video cards aren't up to date, and something about how OpenGL isn't on. How can I turn that on? I know for sure my drivers are up to date, and the GPU is new, so I am confounded.
If any could help, I would be eternally grateful.
