I see what you mean, I looked him up and checked out most of his work, and it's noticeable that he almost never draws the knees or elbows bent (covering for a weak point in his otherwise brilliant skills as an artist probably).

But throughout his work I would say that the one thing that makes it so amazing is the level of detail. The nicks in the sword, the dents in the armor. Creases and and worn patches or fraying in cloth and leather.

His characters look like they've been out adventuring, which draws me in and makes me want to stat them out, play them, or just know their story. Definitely a nice difference from most fantasy art, where so called warriors are walking around in undented, highly polished armor, and wizards are wearing nothing but a silk robe.

I think Wayne Reynolds's characters seem to lose their elbows and knees because of the way he draws armor. The bracers and greaves cover up the joints. Because this lady copied the armor, it looks like her joints are screwed up too. (She looks pretty stiff in the limbs due to the armor)

I don't see anything wrong with Wayne Reynolds's noses. o_o

The style seems to match a some of the images in the 4e Eberron Campaign Setting, Eberron Player's Guide, and Manual of the Planes. There are no signatures on those images though, and I only have the downloaded art archives not the books so I can't check them for attribution information either.

Female please. Hellbred are humanoid, with smooth dark-red skin and horns (of many varying styles). And their eyes do glow red.

A fiendish of tiefling character would work. I've just had difficulty finding one that wasn't too non-human.

@ Serpentine - The first one is certainly on the right track with how the race looks, though it's a bit cartoonish for my tastes. I really like that first black and white female though. Just wish it didn't have a tail, though I may be able to work that in. Who did it?

EDIT: Not finding any vestige that grants a tail as a sign. :smallfrown:

My bad. Harrowed are (generally humanoid) mortals that have something (generally a plane-devouring abomination) locked up into their souls. This thing may cause them to gain traits of shadow and night, it could cause radical physical mutations like claws and tails, or it may simply wreath them in tainted energies that reek of rotted elements and corrupted life. Dark and/or brooding is preferred.

Yeah, there's something about saving the world and atomic weapons and stuff, but MGS really is a series about asses.

I like Naomi, she's just not the type of badass who kicks other peoples asses.
Seriously. How often ar you left wondering if a character was an anti-hero or an anti-villain. And at the end of the series, we're not less confused but more.

But I agree about the Boss. You have to kneel before her and worship her as a god. Never seen such amazing writing that made such a charismatic Character. And she doesn't even make rousing speeches. She just has to stand there to knock you out your boots.

Bonus points if (any of the following): the archer doesn't have any visible melee weapons, is in a wilderness setting, is laying a trap of some sort, is nocking three or more arrows to their bow, or has a flaming arrow of some sort.

Hey Playgrounders!

I'm looking for a picture for my new wizard character, hoping you guys can help me!

He's a Wizard 6/Human Paragon 3/Mindbender 1. He wears a twilight mithral chained shirt and carries a masterwork Blue Dragonfang falchion. He also has an imp familiar with puma and vulture as alternate forms. He has a hat of diguise, but I'd still like a representation of what he actually looks like. I'm thinking he's bald, but if I see a sufficently decent pic, I might change that!
One of his schitcks is disgusiing himself as a fighter, so I'd be interested in images for that appearence as well. (These are not a priority, however!)
