I was reading 'Surviving the World' when I came across this entry (http://survivingtheworld.net/Lesson740.html) in that comic.
The comic references the Mritak Sangh (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mritak_Sangh), translated as 'Association of the Dead', founded by Lal Bihari (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lal_Bihari). The organization is made up of Indian citizens who had another person bribe the government to get them declared legally dead so the other party could claim ownership of their land. The purpose is to get such decisions reversed so that the victims can claim their legal rights once more.
Since the members of the group could be defined as 'the living dead', I wonder if Xykon is a member.:smalltongue:
