A few months back I wrote a creative paper for my Classical Mythology class in which I retold the story of the 12 tasks of Hercules as if he was a character in a D&D game. I just got news that my essay was awarded 2nd place in a countrywide (Canada) Classics essay competition, so I thought I'd share with the D&D playing community.

Please share your opinion. If you found it interesting, tell me why. If you hated it, tell me why too. I usually have low opinions of my own work, so I won't get offended if it is criticized.

Here's the link (http://www.mediafire.com/?1kwdc6w6z5d89uc)

P.S. The character sheet which some of the footnotes refer to has been lost (I sent it to the competition assuming I was going to lose, so I forgot to make any copies of it), but it isn't hard to imagine what it would look like (Human Paragon Barbarian 10).

I can't read word files, due to my stupid computer. Looks interesting (sorry I can't be of more help).

Interesting stuff. Shame about the character sheet, though. :smallfrown:

Amazing news. Canada is awesome. I'll read your essay if I got some time.
