Ok, I'm constantly forgetting words, definitions, names, song lyrics, links, you name it, so thought might make a thread just for me (and others) to ask instead of continuously making new threads.

Q: What I'm trying to recall now is the word for taking control of bodily functions. Like controlling you're heart rate, breathing, an example being some can meditate to survive being immersed in ice and similar.
