OOC: I'm pretty surprised too by how fast this deck moved, but having the luck to draw into an almost-ideal opening hand might explain some of it. You definitely had bad luck with your opening hand, though; if you'd drawn that Zombie World in it instead of a turn late, Invicil would have lost its effect before I summoned it.

"I give you The Seal of Orichalcos. It increases the power of my monsters by 500 attack, and cannot be removed from the field in any shape or form. I can use my Spell/Trap zone as an addtional monster zone, as well. And one additional effect that is relevant to the duel: if I win, I become the Reaper of the Gods. If you win, you recieve the soul of one dead person of your choice, since I have no soul of my own to offer."

"Now, for the next nail of the coffin, to seal your fate, I set one monster in the front in facedown defence position. Then I end."

Two creatures collapse into a flaming hole, and a large being climbs out of it.

"With Goblin Zombie's effect, I bring forth my last Nightmare Horse from my deck to my hand."

A third horse runs up to the Reaper, waiting for him to mount.

"And now, I activate Polymerization in my hand."

The horse runs towards Spirit Reaper, but before it could be reached, The Reaper of the Cards is on the horse himself, running behind the newly summoned Earthbound Immortal. The Spirit Reaper is now floating to the rear.

"Now, END THIS!" cries the Reaper of the Cards. "Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu, Attack Archlord Kristya!"

The creature moves forward, striking at the him, while the Reaper himself charges around the battle to strike the goddess directly, and Card Guard follows the Earthbound Immortal, attacking directly once Archlord Kristya is gone.

"Wha?" Questions the Reaper, and the horse beneath him stops JUST BEFORE the goddess, sending the Reaper flying over her head.

Polymerization negated and destroyed.

"Fine," says the Reaper. "I wanted to be the one to strike the final blow to you. But so be it. Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu, end this now. Forget the monster, attack directly!"

The being pauses momentarily, then dives underneath the monster and wracks Aphrodite as it comes up, dealing 3500 points of damage to her for game.

OOC: I thought so. It would have been unfair to win in that way. Though it's not that Polymerization would have been negated. Activating it itself would have been the disallowed move, since Kristya doesn't negate special summons, but prevents them entirely.

"No!" Aphrodite screams as the attack strikes, then collapses. The Seal shrinks to surround her, flaring brilliantly as it absorbs her power. There's a brilliant flash of light, then both seal and goddess are gone. Somehow, the shoreline begins to feel colder, the divine power that once suffused the area now absent.

[Eternal Drifter]

"You have bound your fate to the cards," The Reaper says, remounting his horse. "So I now I reap you."

The Reaper swings his scythe, and his deck gathers itself up again.

The Spirit Reaper, no longer in battle, picks up some cards from a seashell and a card from where the center of the Seal was.

"Ah, the belongings of Aphrodite... I might as well take them to someone who cared for her... and what's this?"

...

"I'll keep a hold of this card of Aphrodite... Might need to release her sometime. Let's go... I need to fight this Hades, and claim the title of... THE REAPER OF THE GODS!"

The Reaper guides his horse down the beach looking at the ocean now growing far more stormy, and the trees shaking visibly in the wind behind him.

"This could be problemsome. I hope I know what I've done."
