Help. With a guy. Who jumps really high. For 3.5.
Does anyone know what feats, classes, prestiges, homebrews, etc. would be appropriate?
Edit: Oh yeah, forgot to mention: I only have SRD material. It either has to be SRD, or you have to give me a link or write what it does.

Away from book, but Tiger Claw Warblade?

It's not SRD, but a lot of the same principles apply:

It's been a while since I read the thread, but they might have some core-only builds too...

COUGH (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168962).
Well, you did say homebrew too... :smallwink:

At some point Endarire will appear in this thread. He will answer your question.
How do I know he will appear? Because in truth, this is not your thread, but his. You merely don't know it yet.
Edit: I hadn't noticed that his thread has already been linked. Well, you have your solution then.

I remember a long time ago Tempest Stormwind made a really sick Dragoon build using... geez, I barely remember. Blade Dancer from OA was in it... probably Up The Walls too.

IIRC Endaire, was inspired by Tempest Stormwind dragoon build, I am sure he links to that particular build in his guide.

That ... that is one pretty awesome class. I think I will play it. Now.

Gentlemen, I herby present, in its nearly completed glory, Hero's Edge (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=169940), my own homebrew involving... How you say, fifty foot jumps.
Unfortunately for the OP, it requires knowledge of Tome of Battle materials. Like the Warblade (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20060802a&page=2).

The Dragoon guide would work, if I knew what the feats do. Specifically, Battle Jump and Leap of the Heavens.
I don't see what jumping has to do with it.

...which is totally the reason why mine has a customizable mount. :smallwink:

Well, yeah, but I got inspiration from Dragoon from 8-Bit Theater...
...Also, I already made a mounted swordsman.

So have you read the Hood guide yet? Hoods are AWESOME...

Not entirely sure what Battle Jump does, but Leap of the Heavens is in PHB2. You always count as having a running start for your jumps, and I believe you get a bonus to all jump checks too.

Ur-Priest is right. I'm replying saying, "Go, go gadget Hood (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19872838/Little_Red_Raiding_Hood_A_Tale_of_38_Guide_to_the_ 35_Dragoon)!" (If you prefer prettier formatting, use the older 2.3 version (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=2462.0). Little has changed, though the 2.3 version has feat summaries which were mysteriously lost in the board transition of 2 years ago.)
Read also this thread (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=9658.20) where I share my experiences as a dragoon. See replies #29 and #31.
