the clinging darkness mystery states that an immobilized creature makes further saving throws against immobilization as a full-round act, but that it needs to save every round while within the effect.

am i reading this wrong, or is there really no reason to give them further saving throws if they don't have extra actions or swift/immediate movements/teleportations, etc?

If you are immobilized, you can take a full-round action to try and get out.

If you are not immobilized, you still have to make a new save each round to keep from being immobilized, and then being forced to take full-round actions to get a new save.

ahh. i missed that part for some reason. i was thinking for some reason that it was saying once you have failed a save, *all* future saves against it would be full-round acts.

i'm about as bright as a dark cellar sometimes. thanks.
