Hey forumites. I'm looking for ways to distract a caster to foil her spellcasting.

Specifically, the enemy is a twinked kobold loredrake Master Transmogrifist trying to recast a dispelled Shapechange.

Distractions :
Delay action and cause damage when she casts ( probably the best option because the save DCs are high )
Weather
Spells which cause Concentration checks ( Buzzing Bee , Bloodbriars , any repeated-damage spell , Dissonant Chant , Harmonic Void , Maw of Chaos )
Spells which cause other spell failures ( Mana Flux , Mage Burr )
Spells which affect the Concentration DC ( Insidious Rhythm )

Have an enemy with the Mage Slayer feat tree smack 'em hard in the gonads.

There's also debuffing the character's skill checks. Granted I don't know a good way to do this off the top of my head, but at least it's an idea of a different direction to look.

Use Celerity to have an enemy caster drop a high-damage spell RIGHT ON HIS FACE!

Walk up with an anti-magic field on. Have a Witch Hunter (ToM) zap said kobold with a similar effect from range. Use Greater Dispel Magic to counterspell the shapechange.

Would a Melf's Acid Arrow function in this situation? I've been wondering whether or not the rules allow the acid/round to force concentration.

On topic, you can't beat surrounding him with your melee specialists and force cast-defensively and aforementioned delayed-action-attack rolls.

Damage-over-time-effects only add half their damage tho the concentration DC.

On topic:
I strongly suggest "offensive counterspelling". Ready an action to hit him with lots of damage when he casts. The easiest way, however, is readying a Silence spell, targeted at his feet (remains stationary, but allows no save). Unless he casts with Silent Spell this is 100% guaranteed to interrupt him. A nice variation is to have a designated mage-harrier. Cast Silence on him and have him ready an action to simply move close to the enemy caster.

Just my two €-cents;

Seriously. just ready a Manyshot. It's a standard action. You shoot 4 arrows. Kobold fails concentration check.
