So I'm at a crossroads.

I'll be a wilder in a few days. Most likely one of the primary damage dealers and due to my high Cha, the party face.

Should I go straight Wilder and hit those Wild Surges like mad...Or should I try for a prestige class? What would be the best prestige class to call on? Please link if you can find.... Also, for reference. I'm death touched and we have SRD access, crystal keep and all core material. Also, best psionic feats to take?

Thrallherd makes a good face. In order you qualify you will need to pick up the mindlink power via the Expanded Knowledge feat...I can't be bothered to check mantles for mindlink.

Mind's Eye has some expanded options for wilder.

Depends on how you envision you character. I am not that good with psionics, but I have some basic advice.

Make use of the social, perception and mobility skills. I played a game with a Wilder character and I thought he was playing a rogue for the first couple of weeks.

He focussed mainly on augmentable combat buffs and then went into melee. The game finished in the early teen levels, but by then he was full attacking with a melee or ranged weapon and blasting via Scism. He has taken the Practiced manifester feat to offset the penalty to Scism, that plus Wild Surge meant that even if he got into trouble he could manifest Vigor while fighting.

Pretty sure he was using the SRD version of Illithid Slayer, though it could have been another PrC. High stat was Charisma; Dex and Con were above average from memory. Metapsionics and touch effects were the main source of his damage, but he had a few other tricks at his disposal. I hope this gives you some inspiration.
