As your scorpion attempts to move out of U10, it gets hit with a readied action and an AoO, after which you see Rai in W9, wielding a longspear, with a flask of alchemist's fire in her mouth. (Since its FF AC is the same as its normal, whether it saw me or not is somewhat irrelevant.)

Oh, heh, I was about to say that hit, then I realized you'd added prone to your attack roll instead of the AC penalty it's supposed to be. :smalltongue: Yesh, miss (thankfully).

Throwing the flask triggers Rai's readied action; 5ft step to W11 and start concentrating. Since it misses and lands on you, we both take 2 damage. Concentration to not lose my... well, concentration: [roll0], DC12, I think. Need to see if that succeeds.

So if I am right here, 2 points from Acidic fire + 1 from Frost splash + 8 from Electrical hit = 11hp total damage. I think I got you.

On the other side, after I have taken 10 points of damage, I am at 0hp and still able to function.

This is the first match, that I know of, that two gladiator just stood there throwing things at each other.

Penalties start at the first increment. And unfortunately for Symbol, Rai manifested Vigor in Round 2, so she's still standing. Extra damage for the alchy's fire: [roll0], which should finish the match - in the other direction. ^^

Looking back over the match I did hit you with the Frost attack. You were in W-11 after your readied and I was in W-13. That's 10' away and the flask had a range of 10'.

Yes, and as I said, range penalties start at the first increment.
...each full range increment imposes a cumulative -2 penalty on the attack roll.

Correct. So you always have at least a -2 on alchemist's fires and the like unless you are adjacent to your target. It also applies for bows and slings and such, but comes up a lot less frequently.
