Each of you are crammed into cells. The cells are sized to hold maybe 6, but each holds at least 10. You don't know any one else, you don't know what to expect. You only know you are now a gladiator of the Arena. As you hear the crowds start to chant and scream in the background, you look into the hall. Coming down the hall gazing into each of the cells is a man, he seems to be 30 or so. You don't know who this man is, but you know his purpose. He picks squads of warriors from the cells to fight. Those that are chosen and lose, perish. Those that are chosen and win, move on to the next level. You see him select his choices from different cells, pointing at those who shall fight. Then you see him point at you, and suddenly you're being pulled towards the front of the cell. You seem to just float right through the bars to stand next to this man. Four total combatants selected, he looks at those that he has chosen and smiles a cruel smirk.
Now another guard comes and escorts you towards a room you have never been inside before. He speaks in a simple and gruff tone. "Listen up maggots, you shall fight today as if your life depended on it, for it does. You see the weapons that adorn the walls, you each may select one and some armor to take inside. This fight should be an easy one for you all. I expect good things from this squad. The overseer himself has no particular desires for today, but I promise the lot of you, if you can beat your opponent unconscious before ya kill him, I'll put in a good word to help get ya all a nice comfy cell to share. Anyways, after your all done selecting equipment, just walk through those doors into the arena." And with that said, he leaves you all to introduce yourself and prepare for the fight.

Unspeaking, Traig pulled on a chain shirt he took from the wall, then grabbed a greatsword as well. Turning to look at the others he remained silent, waiting for one of them to speak.

Dokebi takes the same equipment as Traig.

It seems that we have the same idea. I am Dokebi, the Striker. Normally, I would prefer to dual-wield, but it seems that we are not allowed to, at least at this point.

Abaddon Miran

A hairy, inhumanly tall man laughs as he plucks a guisarme from the wall. Shaking the weapon in the air, he roars, "Two weapons are each half as strong. One weapon is TWICE as strong!" Whoever this man is, it is abundantly clear that math is not his strong suit. He sizes up the other gladiators as he dons a chain shirt and genuinely asks, "Are you on my team, or do I kill you first? I wasn't listening to the first part."

We are indeed partners. I am Dokebi.

The towering mountain of hair and muscles turns towards Dokebi. "So be it. Then I shall kill you last of all. I am Abaddon Miran, Destroyer of the World. Tell me of your fighting style."

I was once known as the Striker. I place an equal emphasis on power and grace, and indeed, only the most agile of warriors can master the art of fighting with two weapons. While my blows are not as powerful as yours, I can strike an opponent many times in a matter of seconds.

"Hmm," the large warrior grunts. "Many times means nothing if you can kill them once. Perhaps we should compete? Let us see how many enemies we can each drop." Realizing the amount of math involved, he sheepishly adds, "Maybe you should keep score."

Very well then, I accept your challenge.

"Terrific!" Abaddon booms and pounds his chest. Quite proud of himself, he states, "the current score is 0-0."

As you finish conversing and head outside you spot two beings standing near the center of the arena. Both look similar to dwarfs and are wearing kilts made of some shiny metal that gleams in the bright light. Both are holding a warhammer with a spear strapped to their back. Both look willing to kill.

With a fierce cry, Traig charged forwards. Reaching one of the dwarves he swung his massive blade with all his might, intent on dispatching his opponent in a single blow.

Charge to E6, attack Dwarf 2. Power Attack for 3.

"We bathe in your blood and feast on your flesh!" Abaddon shouts as he lumbers forward to E6. Standing firmly behind Traig, the hairy main sweeps his guisarme along the ground, attempting to trip dwarf 2.

Okay, considering you both moved to E6, I'm gonna move one of you up to D6.. And Dragon, I never got a real location from you..

Traig's swing is far to wide and slow. The dwarf-like fighter isn't even scathed. Meanwhile Abaddon's attack almost works, but that fighter is able to dodge the weapon.
As you two closed the distance into melee, you could start to feel the heat that radiated off the fighter's bodies.
Now they both look angry, as if they are insulted that you would attempt to hit them. They began to attack.
The first one swings his hammer at Abaddon, hoping to crush him. The second one follows the same pattern except attacking Traig.

Enemy 1
Attack against Abaddon: [roll0]
Damage [roll1] +1 fire.

Enemy 2
Attack against Traig: [roll2]
Damage [roll3] +1 fire
