I am currently playing a game in which I am playing a Master of Many Forms with the assume supernatural ability feat. In my mind, because I can wild shape into a dragon and, with aid of the feat, gain the dragon's breath weapon, I can take metabreath feats. The DM says no as his interpretation is that I only gain the use of the abilities and don't actually gain the ability, my argument is how can I use the ability without actually having it. In the end it is his call to make but I wanted to know if there was any actual ruling out there in writing that we could point to to have a definitive answer for it. I'm really wanting to know because this could cut out other feats such as improved maneuverability, hover, flyby attack, and the like. Any help would be appreciated.
