So, does a shadowdancer's hide in plain sight ability work against creatures who can See in Darkness?

You can only hide if you have concealment. HiPS just lets you hide while people are looking at you.

As long as there's a shadow within 10', you can hide, even if the enemies have Darkvision. (With the better version of HiPS: the poorer one, such as that of the ranger, only allows you to hide while being looked at.)

Nothing about not needing concealment in there, buddy. Nor does it mention darkvision.

Emphasis mine. The shadowdancer's ability allows them to hide anytime they are within ten feet of a shadow other than their own. They do not need concealment of any kind.

Cover OR concealment is needed, they are interchangeable.

they only need to be within 10 feet of shadow they don't even need to be in the shadow so i think its pretty clear that seeing through the shadow their not even standing in does not help
