After some experimentation, I found that

to:
(that's "to", colon, double space)

also generates the 403 error.

As someone whose style book still mandates colons to be followed by double-spacing (and whose pages pertaining to ending sentences with a preposition have been torn into strips and used as bookmarks in a volume of Latin poetry), I am a tad annoyed.

The browser won't display double spaces anyway...

The browser's mistake is no reason to let my typing standards (or what's left of 'em after working on this French-programmed-to-Swedish keyboard :smalltongue:) slip.

'Mistake'?

Seems more like a proper correction to me :smalltongue:

The double space issue was well known and has been mentioned by me previously several times, though what specific combination caused it was not.

You should avoid the use of double spaces anyway. First, it is considered bad style. Double spaces were used in the day of typewriters with monospaced fonts and has fallen out of practice now that we have variable width fonts. Second, the end user browsers will not display the second space anyway, so typing it is superfluous.

You're welcome.
