It's kind of like throwing a press conference to announce that nothing untoward happened on October 15th, out of the blue. It's a good way to make people examine October 15th when there was no speculation before.

That's because nothing, I repeat, nothing at all out of the ordinary occured on October 15th. The hours between 5 PM and 9 PM had usual levels of uneventfulness.

But, Jokasti, usual levels of uneventfulness would suggest that something interesting/eventful occurred. If nothing at all eventful occurred, then that would be unusual levels of uneventfulness, which would itself be eventful!

Sig E: If this is of some importance to these boards, it should probably be in Board Issues. If it is of importance to a particular topic, it should probably be addressed in the topic itself. If this is a general announcement, some context and clarity would be very helpful.

While we're getting things out into the open. I want to remind everybody that Nothing Interesting Happened on september 22nd in Albany New York. I would also like to deny any involvement in the nonevent that occurred on that day, around 3 PM, at three different banks across the city. In addition, the "Triple Deck Shuffle", a heist that lets one rob three banks simultaneously, without making it appear that any of the banks were robbed at all, is impossible and does not exist, therefore I could not have have been involved in such a maneuver at 3 pm on september 22nd, when, as we have established, nothing happened at all.
