A many of my friends and I play D&D on a regular basis, but we'd like to try doing a game online using Skype or some other chat. Does anybody know of any dice rolling environments that show dice rolls over the internet? I would prefer one catered towards 3.5 D&D (if there is such a thing).

Invisible Castle. (http://invisiblecastle.com/)

Or, if you want to be able to set up specific dice rolls, and also have a map, get your party to all download one of the versions of Gametable.

I don't suppose you've tried the Playground's built-in dice roller?

Oh, it only works in the game forums? Didn't know that.

There's always the official site (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htm) if you want something one person can use on the web.

But you may want something to share (http://rpgp.org/dice/?p=group).

The Playground has a dice-rolling forum specifically for this purpose - you can't edit or delete posts there. It's quite handy.

Edit: It's here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=43)(it's kind of hard to find).

There's also the Pen, Paper and Pixel dicebag (http://www.penpaperpixel.org/tools/d20dicebag.htm)

I use this one. (http://catchyourhare.com/diceroller/) Lets others see the rolls too.

Yup. It works well, updates in real time and allows multiple users to log in. Works great for my Skype game.

...thinking about it, it makes sense that volthawk recommends it...

Doesn't Google Wave have some gadget or bot for this?

Alternatively, roll the dice in full view of the webcam, maybe?
