I know fully that requesting/granting legal advice is not permitted on this forum. However, I wanted to know about requests for further information - such as, say, a request for the text (or the link thereto) of the Open Gaming License, or asking what popular historical authors fall under Public Domain. Are these acceptable, or should we ask these questions on other forums?

Sheriff: A link to the OGL or public domain work seems fine, but it's likely to be a short thread because once people start interpreting the OGL or public domain law for you (or regarding their own situations), it's going to get locked.
