Ways to make the Final Messenger a Familiar

Basically, I'm wondering if there's any way to make the Final Messenger warforged component an actual being, like a familiar or animal companion. I had the idea of a warforged referring to itself as 'we', meaning itself and his messenger, and really throwing the party off (lot of Star Trek nerds are going to start making odd connections in their head at a cybernetic creature referring to itself in the collective sense.)

Final Messenger – This component can have a message recorded into it, both audio and visual. A warforged can embed it to play the message recorded. It will fly to the target of a warforged’s choosing, very fast. It is nearly impossible to catch, being very tiny. Upon the death of the warforged, it will seek out the nearest warforged, playing the audio message recorded, but replacing the visual with the warforged’s last sight. Price: 5000 gold
