I think I found a way to be nearly invincible, permanently. I tried to keep the cheese low for this, but it's still something that would have books thrown at you; you're trying to be invincible afterall.

So here it is:

Spells needed: Magic Jar, Imprison Possessor, Awaken Undead. You can have Imprison Possessor and Awaken Undead cast by someone else, and Magic Jar should be scrolled, since you're not gonna be able to use it after this anyway.

Feats needed: Eschew Material, Silent Spell and maybe Still Spell

Cost: 115,100 gp (115,000gp for the golem, 100gp for Magic Jar) and 250xp for Awaken Undead.

You also need to have a dominated/hired/cohort Spellcaster capable of casting Control Undead

1- Buy a Dragonbone Golem
2- Kill it(make it kill himself, it has no chance of going berserk like other golems)
3- Raise it as a Revived Fossil
4- Give it the Swarm-Shifter template(it's an acquired template) - Undead Sand (or Flies are good too)
5- Give it the Phantom template(it's an acquired template)
6- Cast Magic Jar and possess the Revived Fossil(instruct it to fail its save beforehand)
7- Cast Imprison Possessor
8- Have your dominated/hired/cohort Spellcaster cast Control Undead, and have him make you incorporeal through your Incorporeal Jaunt ability(you can't do it yourself).
9- Have your dominated/hired/cohort Spellcaster Shift you into your Swarm form(you can't do it yourself).
10- Have him end the Control Undead spell.
11- Cast Awaken Undead

Congratulations, you are now a spellcaster with immunity to all spells, SLA, supernatural abilities(the Dragonbone Golem entry doesn't specify it's only spells and abilities that require a SR check) and all weapons(amongst other bonuses).
And you can pass as sand. Nobody ever suspects the patch of invincible ghost sand.

Alternatively, you skip the part of the Swarm Template, you'll be kinda weak to weapon damage, but still have tons of HP, DR, better attack forms and strength scores, and that sweet sweet immunity to anything magical.

You could also save money by making the golem yourself, but be wary that it requires 3 additional feats(Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Craft Wondrous Item and Craft Construct, requires you to have Animate Dead, Cause Fear and Geas/Quest, to be able to attain a DC20 Heal check(not too hard) and costs 4,400xp.

Weaknesses:
-Does not protect against Ex abilities who don't require attacks AND target an area, but those are quite rare(does it even exist?)
-Your strength gets reduced to almost nothing, but since you are undead(and magic immune), this doesn't have many consequences.
-Can't use magic items, and can't get magical buffs
-Must use Silent Spell to cast, and possibly Still Spell as well, limiting you to 8th(or even 7th) level spells
-Preparing spells(as a wizard) might be hard, so you'll pretty much want to be a kobold and do the ritual to get an additionnal level of Sorcerer Spellcasting, anyways having high charisma is better than high intelligence as an undead. Being a cleric might work too.

Flaws:
-Dubious interpretation of "Skeletal system"
-What happens when you cast Awaken Undead? Do you get ejected from the body?
-How to give it the Swarm-Shifter and Phantom template

Thanks to Sir Swindle89 for pointing the Imprison Possessor Spell and hamishspence for pointing the Phantom template

Books(outside core) used:
Draconomicon - Dragonbone Golem
Libris Mortis - Revived Fossil and Swarm-Shifter templates
Monster Manual 5 - Phantom Template
Book of Vile Darkness - Imprison Possessor spell
Spell Compendium - Awaken Undead spell

A revived fossil loses all special qualities except extraordinary abilities that affect its melee or ranged attacks. Magic immunity is neither.

Even if the description didn't include that line and the creature would be immune to magic... it would be immune to your magic jar as well.

How are you intentionally creating a Revived Fossil? Or, for that matter, a Swarm-Shifter?

If you can just fiat creatures to infest, just use the Emerald Legion. It's uninteresting if this is inaccessible to players, DMs already have trivial ways to make invulnerable NPCs.

That's point, it loses Magic Immunity, that is, until the Awaken Undead spell is cast, during the last step.

Problems with awaken undead:
[Regaining ex abilities it had in LIFE]
golems were never alive.
[Grants INT score, up to a maximum of its base creatures]
Even if you awaken construct (spell compendium) beforehand, it's BASE INT score is still a nonability, and thus not subject to this spell.

Edit: also, the only undead constructs I've seen under rules are undead living constructs, and thus lose their magic immunity for being a living creature.

Which I guess could be countered with Construct Essence spell?
