is dragonsbile what it says on the tin,AKA the bile of a dragon?

That seems most likely, but it's not out of the question for it to be some sort of herb or other plant type thing. Lots of that stuff is named after animals. Still, my vote is for "yes it is real dragon bile."

dragon's bile has a large chance of actually being dragon's bile.

Actually, it's dragonne's bile, but it didn't market nearly so well before they changed the name.

If you're looking for a serious answer, where did you see it mentioned, and in what context? It sounds like either real dragon bile or some kind of plant or poison (or even alcohol - who knows?).

I'm pretty sure its a poison from the DMG that deald 3d6 strength damage, no secondary affect. The bile in living dragons is presumably not refined enough to do that kind of strength damage.

I suspect that's it's just a poison given that name to reflect its dangerous qualities.
