As the title says, is there an alternate class feature that replaces a Druid's Wild Empathy anywhere? The thought of a NE Jermlaine Druid crossed my mind, and as Druids only really need Dex and Wis, which a Jermlaine has +6 to each, and they get Wild Empathy as a racial feature anyway, I was wondering if there's something I could get to replace it?

There's one in the cityscape web enhancement

And there is a ranger ACF in CC which lets you replace wild empathy with speak with animals / plants a few times a day. Your dm might let you have that.

The Voice Of The City ACF is interesting, if only for the fact you get Speak Language as a class skill (Something I'm always ecstatic to get )

Here's a handy link (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=1354.msg35413#msg35413).

Unfortunately it looks like Rootwalker is the only other real option unless you wanna give up animal companion and get rage.

Root Walker (DS, p 9): Lose Woodland Stride, Resist Nature's Lure, and Wild Empathy. Gain Wild Empathy towards vermin; move over earth, stone, and rock debris; and +4 bonus on saving throws against spell like abilities of abberations.
