I am a tad surprised at the lack of a pumpkin carving thread itp.
anyone carve any neat pumpkins?
any pictures?
alas mine was a tad subpar as i made it in 10 minutes and i couldn't find my saw blade.
i made a nice happy jackolantern face and then i staked it to the ground in the front garden with a scary long piece of old broken plywood.

I carved the headless horseman. Faces are boring :smalltongue:
It came out well, and I have pictures, but I haven't uploaded any yet.

I'm too lazy to post the pictures here, but you can see the results of our pumpkin carving contest entry on my blog. (http://www.jarofbees.net/blog/?p=191)

There have been pumpkin postings in various places around the forums. But this image (http://www.collegehumor.com/picture:1885155) from offisite, really takes the cake.

My friend carved one of our pumpkins, it was going to be a city with the bat symbol up above it.
But it ended up being essentially a pumpkin with a hole in in it. xD

I carve a tombstone, but it didn't look very good, cuz I haven't carved a pumpkin in a few years, and I did it pretty fast. Unfortunately, me an my friends decided to carve pumpkins last Tuesday, so it had already rotted by Halloween.

This is not as downright awesome (http://www.collegehumor.com/picture:1885155) as the last one, but is still quite funny (http://www.collegehumor.com/picture:1946102).

Here's mine. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of it while it was lit, but I took one right after carving it.
