[4E Dark Sun] Building an ardent

I'm starting in my first 4E game this week, and I decided on playing a thri-kreen ardent. As a newbie to 4E, I would appreciate any advice. I would like my guy to fill his primary role as a leader, but on the side I'd like him to be pretty mobile, smart, and capable with his gythka.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, we're starting at 5th level.
