I'm surprised (and possibly thankful?) that we never saw an Elan in this comic. I mean, that would be too obvious of a joke. Then again, how do we know we HAVEN'T seen an Elan? How can you identify one? Also, despite my dislike of Elan meeting an Elan, it might actually be somewhat funny to some if Elan somehow was part-Elan. Sorry about the rambling, but I saw a post about an Elan and thought it was referring to OoTS Elan.

Sadly, I'm one of the people who knew that there's a psionic monster called the Elan, and I got your thread from the start. It would probably be a bit of comedy to have Elan meet an Elan and have people talk about both of them -- total verbal confusion, really. :smallsmile:

This reminds me of the Nale nails not-nale thing. The punchline would probably make a mention of that. Like, "Didn't we already do this joke?" Or "Are you sure you aren't related to Thog?"

What would be the point? Maybe if oots was still a joke-a-day strip, but why would Rich interrupt the plot just to show an elan meeting Elan? I don't even really see a good joke there.

I hope it happens or is mentioned in a bonus strip, but it woulndt work for one of the main comics. And I'm still not sure how to construct a gag around it
