Can be concentrated to be exuded through the hands or lips. The acid (based on the acidity willed) can dissolve various objects.

Can even be projected, like the user throwing a gob of acid.

Hmm. Not hugely useful in day to day life, but at least I can run around pretending to be Kobra Khan.

The user can control light. Can bend light to generate meager illusions, become partially invisible, send forth dazzling blinding rays, generate serene crepuscular rays, and even concentrate all surrounding light into a beam, shape and control light, create cloaks, and solidify it.

So, I have invisibility and can make light beams that cut through almost anything? Awesome.

One of the first things I would do, assuming other people in the world also have powers, would be to find some other people and team up with them.

Other fun uses?
I could steal stuff pretty easily. I could run up to people, blast light in their face and blind them. Oooh I can also look at two places at once, and have a partial flight.

More on the good side of things? I guess I would probably just make a superhero persona for myself and be a generic save people, stop evil hero.

I could probably do a bunch of other nice things that i'm too lazy to think of.

Yeah, I would basically be Toph. Notably less badass and not blind, but still. I'd probably get a career at construction sites, mines and such and do my thing with crazy martial art poses and choreography to confuse onlookers as I cleave mountains in twain, dig impossible tunnels and help build roads where none have been built before. Then I would travel to the nearest great desert and start surfing on the dunes while screaming "Shai-Hulud!" as loud as I can.

Man, that'd be sweet.

First of all I'd use it to place limiters upon my own power, restrict myself to Superman levels unless the extent of them is truely needed. After that I establish myself as a Superhero. Of course I may solve world hunger and other crises such as that, but that'll be simple reality manipulation for me. :smallcool:

Actually, you'd make a pretty good firefighter, since you can just kill fires. Course the water is nice to stop it from restarting once you let oxygen in again, and you'd have to be careful of people.

Also, you can't remove air, just oxygen.

Ha, kinda funny considering people were jokingly calling me a goth today because i randomly decided to wear all black. Anyway, I wouldn't say this would be first on my list since I wouldn't get a ton of practice on people and it wouldn't be useful in my civilian existence (except it would be fun at parties). I couldn't really use it in public since it's sorta evil or seems to be and might not be too tight with the public.

I ended up with Faunal Mimicry (http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Faunal_Mimicry). So, I can mimic the abilities of animals without actually changing shape. Not exactly clear on whether this allows me to fly, produce venom or pheromones, or camouflage myself.

If I can fly and produce stuff like webbing, this power would be alright. Otherwise, it's fairly lame. Presumably, I could get slow regeneration, though, which would be nice. Hm. Possibly, I could duplicate myself via budding/fragmentation.

What I'd actually do with it largely depends on the not-exactly-clear limitations.

Dear Santa,

I've been a relatively good fungus this year. It's been months since I've caused anyone physical harm or discomfort - even sneezing! I'm working on moving to a better apartment so my kitty will be happier with more room to run and play and have more people to pet her.

I would like three presents. That's all I really need as they will likely fill all of my needs for the remainder of my years. First, I would like the Darkness Manipulation power. Second, I would like the Spatial Manipulation power. Lastly, I would like the Sleep Inducement power. With these powers I feel I will be able to excel at my job as well as provide presents for all the people on my holiday shopping list without having to pay for shipping and handling.

I would become a batman-style hero, using my powers and martial arts training to put an end to as much crime as possible, bringing down corrupt organizations and more petty crime. Most notably, I'd try to take money from the corrupt and give it to the poor and the starving. All in all, I'd just try and do my best to make the world a better place.

EDIT: i got Glass manipulation (http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Hyalokinesis) so i can encase you in a sphere of glass (sealed) hover it over the edge of a skyscraper then generate a vortex of fire inside it to use up the oxygen, you are now trapped inside a sealed glass sphere with no oxygen and about 40 stories up in the air. how do you get out? :smalltongue:

Yes, and as long as people aren't getting their own generators we'd be able to get in anywhere.

The user can erase the oxygen around them causing respiring organism to choke and even go into cardiac arrest. The user can release a molecular wave causing oxygen molecules to dissipate.

Foreign oxygen will concentrate into the area due to diffusion when the user is not constantly using their power.

Can be concentrated onto certain areas, an example being a flame's or villain’s proximity.

May accidentally suffocate the user or their allies.

So all i have to do is to deprive a line of air of oxygen deactivate my power ad then switch on my lighter

So. The third power cancels out the second power, basically, since I can use the third power to do all the things that the second power can I think. Also I could likely use the third power to accomplish the first power but now I guess it's natural and I don't have to bother turning that on.

As a humorous interpretation of this I become the hero FLASHBULB! I use my energy powers to light up the darkness which I can see in anyway but I'm vulnerable to my own bright flashes of light according to the first power description so I pass out whenever I create light and use my psychokinesis to bring soft pillows for me to pass out into just as I pass out.

If I am immune to my own effects, people can use my blood to get antibodies to any poison or toxin I am exposed to, potentially creating cures for otherwise untreatable illnesses. It means giving blood, but I am OK with that, I am a blood donor, it can't be much worse. As a superhero, I could subdue foes by giving them a rapid onset disease or toxin that isn't lethal, but really makes you uncomfortable, like it makes you blow from both ends,simultaneously. Yeah, I've had that, not fun. Not the most heroic of powers, but with potential for good. Very 90's antihero, ugh, I hate that era.

This means little to no physical contact and I HATE that.

Well, I am rolling again twice to see what I get to ADD to my list, but not take anything away, because one note heroes can be pretty boring unless in a group. And I doubt anyone wants a superheroine who makes you violently ill if you touch her would be fun to have around, Rogue not withstanding.

Telepathy (http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Telepathy), great, I can know what all you pervs think I look like under the biohazard suit. Still, it has much more potential heroic uses. I can use it to find out what kind of symptoms make you really scared. Also, maybe my telepathy will allow me intimacy without physical contact. I could contact locked in patients, giving them hope. I know they are even worse off then me. Still, if I can't filter or block the ability, this is going to make me even MORE isolated and lonely.

People don't die in space because there's no air. They don't have TIME to suffocate. What really kills them is the air ALREADY in their body. Since there's no air or other molecules in space (if you count planetary atmostphere i think there's one molecule for every three square miles) every air molecule in your body, from your lungs, blood, whatever, expands. This pops your blood vessels, your lungs, etc etc until you die from implosion.

I could become an astronaut and survive without air long enough to get to the ground if i had a pressure suit, but 'no need to breathe' is not the same thing as 'no need to keep the air in your body under constant pressure'

Ok I thought about this for a bit, and well I realized that I may be able to use my water generation. Sure I can't control water or use it as an actual weapon, but if I can get my hand or even just my finger over a person's mouth and keep them from pulling away from me, I can drown them... while risking getting bitten. I can also use my water generation as a psuedo defense against heat and fire... to a certain point how hot it is...

Fine I'll just make a fortune selling water, maybe power a hydroelectric plant.

At first I got Arthur Wellesley and Fanfiction, but those seem to be irrelevant entries, so skipping them. My actual powers are:

Pretty varied, but very nondescriptive. It apparently depends solely on the type of mask I choose. It would harm my social relations to some extent, as I couldn't use my powers without covering my face. Though maybe I could become interestingly mysterious.

2. Dimensional Transport http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Dimensional_Transportation
Well, combined with my Mask Powers, I might go around acquiring masks from many dimensions, gaining a large variation of powers.

These two comibined might work ofr some kind of thieving career.

I can manipulate books and text. The uses for this depend on which variation I used. The omnilegency might be cool, instant knowlrdge about written things, great for thieving career.And I could probably make something of papyrokinesis, at least for everyday uses like getting a book that's too far to reach to come to me. Stealing text from books doesn't seem that useful, unless I wanted to erase some secrets that were written down. The sonography thing seems weird as connected to this, it seems more like hypersensitive fingertips or something.

Maybe I can become a cat burglar who specializes in books, at has the most extensive collection ever.

I think I can now summon ghosts to induce death by moe. And if death by moe doesn't work, I can just freeze them.

So... Gliding is cool I guess, but not that useful.. Probability manipulation is very sweet, especially if I can decide what to do with a die roll (ie: multiple choice exams, stocks, that sort of thing, roll a d6/20/100 and presto), plus the obvious casino/lottery/free booze via bar games. Regeneration is nice, and it's awesome if it's like Wolverine/Claire's regen with immortality, no hangovers (I'd like to be able to get drunk tough), no illness, no cancer, etc...

With that I'd probably just become very rich and have fun knowing basically nothing can harm me

Well it’s cool, its useful but not particularly powerful as a super power. The best thing I can think of is to become some sort of spy or cop, maybe a schoolteacher bus driver or baby sitter. I’d know when they’re messing around when my back is turned. As long as I’m not stuck with compound eyes or something horrible looking like that.

Now we're talking. Perspicuity is the purely defensive power of being immune to psychic attacks, but that's useful what with everyone second person on this thread having mind reading or illusions or what-have-you. And Amalgamation means I can fuse stuff together or do the whole body fusion trick in case anyone else wants amazing Remote Control powers. I guess the Human Remote could fuse with something solid like a sheet of steel given his complete lack of physical powers, so that's something.

My random superpower from there was "Fourth Amendment: The ability to be defended against having your stuff taken". Woooo. Sounds mildly useful until the flavour text adds that the downside is that you can never get rid of anything you have, ever.

You know, that site never did give much restrictions on that power. It just says a portion of your body, but not if it has to be attatched to you, or even large, or close to you.

So let's say you use something like, fingernail clippings, or hair... or boogers, to blow things up from a distance. You don't kill yourself, your enemies go boom. Everyone wins, except your enemies.
