Hi. I'm joining a campaign that has a barbarian, damage wizard, rogue/cleric, cleric and was going to play a utility batman wizard. I was wondering how you would make a Batman Wizard in this group. I'm not completely familiar with 3.5/pathfinder since my only experience is with the blessed 2nd edition.

This is how you do it.

Honestly, not that big a difference between a 3.5 batman wizard and a Pathfinder Batman wizard. You pick mostly the same spells, same feats, and same bonuses.

Int and Con are still your main stats.

Take an Arcane Bond instead of a familiar.

Toughness is helpful now that is gives you a bonus every level.

Almost any race would make a good wizard, but human is best with the extra feat (and extra HP every level, stacked with toughness you can have almost as much HP as the standard fighter)

Reread any spells you do decide to take to make sure Pathfinder hasn't nerfed/changed them. Most are the same, but some are different.

CON's a little less important in Pathfinder. Defensive casting's a caster level check rather than a skill check, and IIRC Concentration doesn't exist as a skill anymore.

Con is for hit points.

Every time I boosted Con in 3.5 I never did it to make sure my concentration check was decent... is that why you did it?

If not a Pathfinder Batman Wizard how about a Pathfinder God Wizard (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/extras/community-creations/treatmonks-lab/test)?
