Lots of spells and abilities have been depicted over the course of the comic, to funny (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0721.html), awesome (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0352.html) or just plain disturbing (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0383.html) effects. In this thread, we pray to our Lord and Savior Mr. Burlew to apply his unique style to our favorite spells and abilities, and hope that even though he has the whole comic planned out, he will find a way to indulge us.

Personally, I think that Irresistable Dance (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/irresistibledance.htm) and Grease (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/grease.htm) have tremendous potential for some good ol' slapstick comedy.

We already had grease. Or... hum... something like it.

Personally, I want to see someone using cantrip spells to tie another person's boot laces together.

I would like to see reverse gravity. It can make for amusing encounters.

Extract water elemental is one I'd like to see pulled off in the comic.

I kind-of want to see Otto's Irresistible Dance. That or Mirage Arcana, but that would be pretty easy to guess... still, Elan could create an entire Brothel, not just one pretty girl with his illusion.

I'd like to see a ToB class performing some of the more crazy maneuvers ... and then trying to claim that he or she is non-magical to the skeptical party.

ToB stuff would be fun to see. Also more epic spells would nice but I have a feeling that the plot is approaching an epic spell caster.

Speak with Animals (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Speak_with_Animals), but then they accidentally that animals don't very much. Hilarity ensues (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HilarityEnsues).

The most egregious example of Awesome, Disturbing and funny was

Evan's Spiked Tentacles of Forced Intrusion (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/images/oots0020.gif)

I even put it in my games (a Lvl-4 spell, instead of Lvl-3, wich does exaclty what Black Tentacles does, plusa Will DC to avoid being panicked, enthralled, or amused (Whatever goes better with the caracter)

I would like to see Mage’s Magnificent Mansion. Since V don't need to go to the washroom nor sleep, the M.M.M. won't have any beds nor restrooms!

I, uh... I don't understand that sentence :smalltongue:

While I know its technically been used, I would like to see more/funnier uses of prestidigitation. That spell has so many great applications, even in combat.

A bad joke, then Tasha's? Irresistable Laughter, with some wacky metamagic feat. I'm thinking of V on that one

Xykon could extract a water elemental from someone alive, that's a good idea. Pretty evil

Maze (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/maze.htm) just to see Belkar stumble around it for 10 minutes. I am guessing that his Intelligence is not that much better than his Wisdom (low will save).

And I simply cannot believe that V has not used Shocking Grasp (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/shockingGrasp.htm) on Belkar yet. It's in his specialization for pity's sake.

If we're going to see someone use shocking grasp to comedic effect, I want to see it used in conjunction with 'pull my finger'

No, now you are thinking of Burning Hands (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/burningHands.htm) to "light one off."
