I personally like City of the Spider Queen, and the Sunless Citadel series. The first starts at level 10, and the Citadel is a series of adventures that runs from 1-20, although I believe the earlier ones are better.

ToEE is actually 1st Ed. RETURN to the Temple of Elemental Evil is 3.0, but then so are all the other suggestions in this thread.

World's Largest Dungeon. :smallcool:

Also, RoTEE *is* WotC-published. So is Ruins of Undermountain, which is pretty enjoyable.

A guy made a 3.5 one that I love called "the abyssal campaign" which involves convincing Demogorgon to kill a demon lord that holds your souls.

Actually, City of the Spider Queen and Sunless Citadel are published by WotC. And you would never know that they were both 3.0 at first glance, there is practically nothing you would need to want change. (As in, I'm running CotSQ right now, and I haven't changed anything.)

what are the follow-up-adventures to the sunless citadel?

Can't remember the level range off the top of my head, but Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk was the best (most enjoyable) dungeon-based adventure I've played in 3.5. I am biased, since I'm a huge Greyhawk fan...

I believe it's modules like the Forge of Fury, Speaker in Dreams, The Standing Stone, Heart of Nightfang Spire, Lord of the Iron Fortress, and Bastion of Broken Souls. I don't think there's much to tie them together as a coherent story, however, they were all published within a year of the 3e release. They also seem to span the level ranges of 1-20 with random encounters and GM creativity filling the gaps.
