I made this character for my friend and I'm not super intimate with either class so looking for some thoughts. I'm strongly considering the breath related feats or fitting in Ancient Soul or Draconic Triumph

I'm not terribly familiar with building either Warlords or Sorcerers, but a Dragonborn is a great fit for them. I take it you're going with the Strength secondary option for the Sorcerer? (I think it's primary is still Cha...but like I said I don't play Sorcerers) And Strength is primary for a Warlord, with a Cha secondary option? Sounds good.
