The day before yesterday, a murder was committed on the streets of New York, which left behind a strange message, and the gods in despair for their lost children.

A gathering, has been called: from across alliances, grudges, indeed, even the most bitter nemeses have asked their children to join in this collaborative. Messengers were dispatched to many a godchild, amongst them yourselves, they carried with them only an invitation to the bar named Seventh Heaven, a well-reputed of both glamor and indulgence, the message given to you carried only a date and a time.

Today, at 6PM.

For those deciding to attend:
Busy is seems to be the unfaltering state of Seventh Heaven as it is packed with people, even for the early bird. As the the waiter confirms your reservation, another materializes next to you as approval is given. Quietly, the waiter shows you to your table, politely handing you a menu before excusing him or herself from your presence.

A tall, blonde haired man with sharp eyes comes in wearing biking leathers. He expects a trap, but has come anyway. Which is rather Aesir of him, really. Those who look at his slender at best moderately muscled frame might be able to guess he is Aesir, but it seems unlikely. He thanks the waiter with a warm smile and feigns looking at the menu as he keeps his watchful eyes on each door and takes a lay of the various exits to this bar.

A short, feminine man, barely more than a boy really, makes his way into the room. At his side, arm linked in his, is a childlike girl with long blonde hair. The unusual pair seem to be escorting each other into the room. The girl curtsies to the waitress that directs them toward a table with a single occupant. As the pair approach, the man's arm slides from the girl's, and drifts around her waist. She leans in against him as they approach the table, smiling. The man takes a seat across from the occupant, and the girl slides in after him, coming to rest sitting upon his left leg, his arm wrapped gently about her stomach, and his face visible over her shoulder, his mouth mere inches from her ear. He speaks in a soft, melodic voice.

"Good evening. I take it you received an invite as well? I'm Raoul, and this is Leah. It's a pleasure to meet you."

While his words aren't particularly odd, the way he speaks them is seductive and venomous, yet nonthreatening. His voice is barely above a whisper, and when he finishes speaking, he kisses Leah's ear softly. She brings a hand up to his cheek and strokes his face warmly, before bringing her hands back to her lap. Raoul pulls back from kissing her ear, and smiles gently. He whispers again.

"Though pleasure... isn't that hard to find."

Eilert winces, restrained by the arcane honor of the Aesir to a strange form of honesty. Neither of the pair before him should really have been engaging in any of the behavior before him, they looked like barely more than children. The issue with the Aesir, or one of the issues anyway, is that when they have an opinion it almost always gets spoken. And when it doesn't, it usually gets hurled as one of Loki's insults during a drunken speech at the end of the world.

"Sometimes," Eilert said with a slight southern drawl, "Pleasure's a viper, not a friend," he takes a napkin off the lay of the table and begins folding it lazily. It turns and tumbles in his hand, taking on various shapes at various times, before he puts it back down again flat on the table. His eyes look forward, save when they flick to the side as he hears something that interests him.

"But you know what I find pleasurable?" Eilert continued his voice picking up speed and making it seem as if there hadn't been a pause between his words, "In-jokes. Like if I told you I was a giant and my name was Eilert Loftur, would you get it?"

Loftur is one of the names of Loki, Loki's the child of giants. Anyone with Occult 3 ought to know that.

Raoul smiles, and chuckles. "Ah, I get it. That's a good one, friend. If you like in-jokes, then you will absolutely love this. See, my full name is Raoul Cimitiére. Isn't that just hilarious? Oh, and Leah here, why, she absolutely adores horses. So you see why we would get along so well, even though she looks so much younger than me."

Hakon walks into the bar now, a long leather jacket pulled around his sturdy frame, concealing the vest beneath. He runs a hand through his blond hair, trying to tidy himself up before he takes a seat- from his appearance, it looks like he had just left a bar or something similar before he came here.

Joining Raoul and Eilert at their table, he take the menu and immediately slides it off to the side, taking out his own flagon and willing it to half fill with some water, witch he immediately downs, then sits back into his seat, giving his head a shake to clear his thoughts.

'Lo. He starts. Did I miss anything important?
He offers his gloved hand to the other three at the table before sitting back once more.
I am Hakon. And you?

Yomiko walks into the bar, taking a quick look around. Noticing the group already gathered at the table, Yomiko hurries over and sits down at the table.

Hi! I'm Yomiko. she says as she sits down. Looking at the group and focusing for a moment, Yomiko speaks again. Hmm, two Norsemen a Loa...and a friend, eh? Very interesting. Do we know who else is coming?

Popping a legend point on Scent the Divine, Yomiko takes a moment to get the scents of the group sitting at the table. Recognizing the scent of burning amber emanating from Hakon and Eliert, as well as the scent of rum coming from Raoul. Leah's lack of scent throws her for a moment, before the thought of a mortal guide or follower pops into here head.

Raoul shrugs. "Unless someone here received more information than me, your guess is as good as mine. If you don't mind my asking, you seem to know where our allegiances stand, what about yours?"

I'm with the Amatsukami, duh. Yomiko says with a smile Oh, I'm sorry. I keep taking that silly ability for granted. So, I suppose we have some free time while we wait for anyone else to arrive, or the person who called us here. What do we have to work with? I mean, I'm pretty good with spirits, and I'm kinda training as a psychopomp. What do you guys do?

Raoul smiled, a sly, knowing smile. "I'd be more than happy to show you what I do, but it's something we should probably do... privately. You don't seem like the kind of girl who wants an audience." He licked his lips hungrily, leaning in towards her. He was getting rather close before he started giggling and backed away. "Ah, forgive my little joke. Well, half-joke. That's not why I'm here, I'm sure. I'm a people person, and I have... talents. I'm sure there's a reason I'm here."

Raoul smiled again, and leaned in close, whispering in Yomiko's ear. "The offer stands, if you're ever interested."

He quickly drew his head back, giggling again, and gave Leah a kiss.

Yomiko's face becomes beet red as she leans back away from Raoul. N...No thanks, I'll be fine. She hoped something would happen soon, whoever called them would show up. Looking for a distraction, she turned to the other two. So, uh, what's your line?

Hakon leans back in his chair, his mug filling up with water again. Best not to risk getting drunk too quickly.
Meteorology, prior to realizing my calling. That didn't go particularly well even then, though, because.. well.. I get "sidetracked."
He takes a swig from his tankard for effect and demonstration.
Unless you mean the other kind of line. In which case that would be the front for me. I prefer to get a bit more.. personal.
He proudly displays his slightly bloodied gloves, which on closer inspection, look somewhere between biker's gloves and brass knuckles, with an interesting metal disc in the palm.

"I'm a lover and a fighter, though less of the first and more of the second of late. I prefer the talking through things but, you know, giants like to fight it out. Who knows why?" Eilert says, crossing his legs and tapping his boot absently.

Valkari enters, fashionably late perhaps. She had never been anywhere near this corner of New York, with the name Seventh Heaven she idly wonders why? She approaches the table that she was being led too and looks to the others there. She was dressed, 'casually', her blonde hair fell in golden waves to her thighs free, she wore a tight T-shirt under a black leather jacket, a pair of red dyed leather belts ran along her shapely and slender waist, a skirt equally made of black leather hung strangely comfortably upon her person, while her thigh high and narrow heeled boots snuggly helt tightly to her long and shapely legs. Her bright blue eyes scanned the talkative group and she offered no other words save these.

"Apparently Fate plays an interesting game. I am Valkari Ascendent, may I have a seat." She spoke softly and politely, as if her very voice might draw undue attention.

Sorry for ... well not posting in like well apparently a week, I hadn't a clue we had started. Oo

Charles Larkin wanders into the Seventh Heaven and immediately stands out like a sore thumb. He is wearing a white lab coat that is completely out of place for the casual attire of the people in the bar, and he genuinely looks like he has no idea what he is supposed to be doing. He briefly spoks to the hostess and insists that he is 'waiting for someone', then proceeds to stand around by the front door and and awkwardly peer around at all the people with wide-eyed wonder.
